[Bandstand] The sound of silence

Today I want to talk about what the sound of silence is like. Just kidding, I want to talk about The Sound of Silence. This song has been covered by many people, each with their own characteristics. Today I want to talk about the versions of Disturbed and Pentatonix. Please leave a message and let me know if you have a good version.

Disturbed was originally a team of Metal bands, so even the CD cover on Spotify was not The Sound of Silence. When I first searched it on Spotify, I thought it was a heavy Metal song with the same name, but I was surprised when I heard it.

The lead singer's voice is a little rustling and low. Super presence from the start. In terms of interpretation, although it is acoustic, the band flavor still exists. Coupled with the shooting and handling of the MV, the dark loneliness is accentuated. It's really depressing

Pentatonix, on the other hand, is a band without chorus, and the two interpretations are quite different at a glance. This version not only enjoys the singer's expression of the lyrics, but also the fusion of harmony and musicality. Listening to that harmony is really relaxing and healing.

And this version of arrange is more powerful and hopeful than the Disturbed version. The MV and CD Cover also express this, which is more a sense of release than depression, full of light.

Everyone has times when they feel depressed and inexplicably depressed. On days when I was in a very depressed mood, the therapeutic feeling of listening to the two songs together was really stressful. Depressed to the deepest emotions, face the core of the problem; then burst out all the emotions, full of strength to solve the problem.
