The luxury hand-cranked life of pearl control

In the U.S., a hand shake is equivalent to a Starbucks $$,

There is no way to be like in Taiwan. Every day after get off work and class, I must have a cup of Qingxin or Igarashi.

Sometimes I still want to drink it on holidays to relieve my cravings and bite the pearls

Share a hand-cranked drink I drank in LA for half a year,

You will never be alone when you come to the West Bank by hand, there are all kinds of BOBA waiting to be explored (wrong)

Start from Taiwan

The long queue at the entrance of the 50 Lan store

✏️ WUSHILAND BOBA Igarashi

Probably because I was in a hurry to drink it every time and forgot to take a picture of the drink itself. I think they are the one that gives the most pearls.

I belong to the "Duozhen" faction, but I dare not ask for this here. The pearls are medium, neither big nor small, but the Q elasticity is sufficient, and it is very refreshing to bite every time.

It's a pity that there aren't many stores. I bought them all at the branch in San Gabriel, and it takes a 25-minute drive to get to Igarashi.

Old fashioned packaging
Modern style packaging (please ignore the Tide in the back)

✏️Ten Ren's Tea Time

The density of Tenren tea here is relatively high, but each branch has its own style.

Some are very traditional and will be sold with tea; some branches are more complex and will be sold with salty crispy chicken

The production process is not very uniform. Some shops give enough pearls (above), and sometimes they drink a little tea (below), but they are all "real tea".

Even the packaging of the drinks is very expensive. I am very curious about how we talked about joining in the first place.

The store is in the upper right corner

✏️Yi Fang Taiwan Fruit Tea

I mostly drink tea, and it seems that I have never tried fruit tea.

Their pearls are also chewy, QQ, and they feel that they have carefully controlled the quality, and they are unlikely to eat soft and rotten pearls, but there are only small pearls, no large pearls, and the tea is also "real tea".

Also, I once had a taro smoothie----- yes, really, yes, taro, head! very moved

Ps. Because I ordered taro milk tea from other shops before, I didn't drink the taro paste. It feels like the taro flavor from the spices.

Oh yes, their decoration is also in the top three in my opinion. The style is the same as that of the Taiwan branch. The shop assistants seem to have Taiwanese.

I always buy Yifang at the Rowland Heights branch, this store is tax-free (don't know why?!), I feel like I earned a haha

Also, once I said I wanted a double bubble (Duozhen), the clerk said that you need a big cup to double bubble, but sometimes the clerk (different) will add it for me. Depends

Breakfast shop milk tea

✏️YiMei Deli

This seems a little out of hand.

Usually I go to Yimei to order their soy milk. Once I drank the traditional soy milk with a burnt taste, I was really touched.

Most of it is the kind of sweet soy milk, similar to the taste of Taiwan

Once I wanted to order some milk tea to drink, uh~~~ It's also full of milk tea in a breakfast shop, but I didn't have a smooth bowel movement immediately after drinking it😝

It seems to be similar to the Taiwan store design
The small label on the side has traditional Chinese on it~

✏️SOMA Tea & Mocktail

A friend who lives in San Diego told me that there are SOMAs on the West Coast: one in LA, one in San Diego, and one in SF (?)

Was surprised to hear the whole! (Because there are not many branches in Taiwan,

One weekend, I checked the store location, and after a lot of travel, I ended up in Artesia (a completely unfamiliar area)

I went on a pilgrimage for the decoration, and only ordered the most common and safest oolong tea, which is "real tea", and the pearls are small, and there are not many ingredients.

The price is on the high side. In my impression, two cups add up to 10 dollars, but the texture of the tea is OK.

And what I think is exaggerated is that the label sticker on the cup is in traditional Chinese characters, and it feels that the entire material is directly imported from Taiwan.

Okay, the local department report is completed, and the next thing is that the LA side opened its own store.

full of zen
love this packaging

✏️Jin Tea Shop

Once I went shopping in Pasadena, I was thirsty while walking, and I accidentally saw a corner drink shop that seemed to be open on the first floor of the apartment.

It was also attracted to the past by the decoration. The light-colored wood system has a "Zen" flavor as a whole. There are some dried tea leaves in the store, which makes me feel very textured (?)

The grade of tea should be the best I have ever had. It feels like drinking tea made by grandpa. The price is also high. The pearls are also small and the material is moderate.

Btw they also sell snacks - egg waffles, it looks delicious (I just didn't order it)

Pasadena is very suitable for walking on weekends. There is also a green park next to the block, which is very suitable for playing waste.

With crunchy watermelon particles ㄡ

✏️ Yu Cake

In fact, I mainly go to this store to buy dessert cakes. Seeing that their drinks seem to be good, I ordered fruit tea to try it out.

I tried it and it was amazing, because he added strawberry and watermelon granules.

The whole cup is very sweet, and when I finally got home, I added water to dilute it and continued drinking😅

The bottle is also full of cute, square design, flat, and the capacity is too small ~ but the CP value of the material is not bad.

go for an industrial style
Bomb a BOBA

✏️HEY HEY

I also drink packaging/decoration of this one. I went to buy it during the day on weekdays. There are many people queuing up. It should be an Internet celebrity shop.

There are green plants outside, and then the store feels industrial (you can see the exposed cement tiles

I feel that I designed the interior with intentions, and the LOGO design is also very cute. The shape is a cup of drink, and at the same time, it looks like 1/2 of the word "囍" (my own guess)

The tea part is quite satisfactory, the pearls are big, but the ingredients are very small~~😣

above.

It is mentioned that the word "real tea" is because of drinking in some stores (such as: Kuai Ke Li, some Share Tea (resting pavilion)),

Their tea should be made with tea essence, because it is full of astringency after drinking, and there is no tea taste....

Thanks for reading, hope you like it :)
