Yang Lide's Life in Painting|Art Exhibition Invitation

Regarding Mr. Yang's great achievements, it is unnecessary to repeat them here. It can be found on the domestic and foreign Internet Encyclopedia. In a word, Mr. Yang is the real "high man" I have met in my life.

By fate, since September 2018, I have been fortunate enough to work in Yang Lide’s studio as an assistant, follow the study tour, and participate in the Gay Pride Walk in Taipei together.

Looking back at night, in those shining days, I realized what "tear growth" is. In the past, I have been taught and improved by Mr. Yang in at least the following areas: culinary skills, aesthetic design appreciation, ability to deal with people, action, decisiveness and overall view, as well as aesthetics and sense of humor. These valuable experiences are an inexhaustible treasure for my life.

Moreover, Mr. Yang, who has taken photos of celebrities such as Cai Qin, Little Tigers, and Wang Leehom, can take a set of photos according to the market price, and it is a photo that starts at 10,000 yuan. As a child of Yang Lide’s studio, I can get it for free:

The above are all the magazine "blockbusters" that Mr. Yang has just shot.

In addition to these, Mr. Yang also took a shy body art photo for me on a whim (with permission), which is a precious memory of my youth.

* I won't put the dew point content here, although it's really beautiful and artistic - maybe you can see it on Twitter if you have a chance

From 2018 to 2019, Yang Lide Studio witnessed the whole process of my moving out of Beijing;

And I also witnessed and participated in helping Mr. Yang move the No. 6 yard from the post-modern city of Baiziwan Road to the Songzhuang art factory area, and finally Mr. Yang decided to move out of Beijing and live in the warm and gentle Thailand for a long time.

On Dawang Road, where every inch of land is so expensive, the No. 6 courtyard, designed by Mr. Yang himself, is a quiet place. The fulfilling and throbbing time I lived in it is like a dream in retrospect, and it is unrealistically beautiful. ...

⬆️ This is a video taken before No. 6 yard moved. Every day at 3 o’clock in the afternoon, the sun will shine from the mottled tree shadows into the straw mat of the glass house, and the dust will float in the collected antique furniture.  …

Teacher Yang said that the best sunlight is only half an hour a day, after which it hides in the gaps between the buildings. So, we experience this "regret" every day. Perhaps transience is the essence of beauty, remember the book on Teacher Yang's workbench: Waiting for God in Peace.

Mr. Yang said that he is a typical Cancer who loves home, loves to take care of children, likes to go to supermarkets and vegetable markets, and likes to cook food for his family.

It was also in this little "Noah's Ark"-like retreat, I learned to make "Little San Cold Noodles", Taiwanese Braised Pork Rice, Tom Yum Kung Soup, and learned how to arrange salads and herb dishes.

We once went to Sanyuanli Market to purchase spices from various countries⬆️

Later, we moved into the courtyard of Songzhuang. In the severe winter of early 2019, which was "frozen to death", we often took the old-fashioned TUTU car and shuttled to various specialty restaurants and cafes in "SongTown" to have tea, chat, and meet customers.

The teacher talked to us about his "Golden Age". In that era when the economy was rising and the advertising and marketing industry was developing rapidly, the daily sunshine in Taiwan was full of gilded vitality and prosperity. As a descendant of a large family of immigrants from other provinces, he grew up in a superior environment. Xiao Yang Lide, who has been loved by his family since childhood, is full of confidence and courage, and he made his debut in the 4A advertising company.

Later, he invented concepts such as "studio" and "photography" that are still widely used today, as well as anecdotes about naming "Head & Shoulders" , as if creating a whole era of pop culture. But Mr. Yang joked that he has always been a "North Drifter", either in Taipei or in Beijing.

We also talked about the future, from "Dancing at the Table" (using a long table as a stage to watch a dancer friend perform in the courtyard) to "Narcissism Festival" (a festival that contradicts the loving Valentine's Day and advocates loving oneself), Then I went to the Green Door chain member bar, and then to the "China-Thailand Gay Exchange Group", "Borderless Tour Group", "Thailand Gay In-depth Tour", and "One-stop Service for Gay Weddings (Chiang Mai/Taiwan Seaside)" plan, Mr. Yang The head seems to have been kept fresh in the young age of inspiration, and new ideas emerge every day, one after another...

Like family, we burn the past to keep warm and drink our dreams to ward off the cold, which makes the winter in Songzhuang not difficult to endure.

Teacher Yang said, "When two people get along together, one must be an adult and the other a child, not both adults or children at the same time."

In life, Mr. Yang is a typical "artist" character I understand. He is often happy in life, dares to speak out in anger, and breaks the rules, but he is always the same .

"Dear Child" is his most widely circulated lyric work, and it seems to be a portrayal of his life-for people he trusts, he is not afraid to lose his temper like a child, express his fragile and abundant love... This makes me often There is an illusion, just like the plot of the animated movie "Howl's Moving Castle", Mr. Yang is actually a lively little lady who was imprisoned in the body of a 70-year-old by magic!

Perhaps this way of living is the real "art life", that is , living people as a work of art .

A real star is not "life is like a play", but "play is like life" - not trying to make life dramatic and like a movie, but even a movie can't be made more exciting than his life itself.

Teacher Yang's heart is like a baby, it comes and goes quickly, love and pain, cry and laugh, and go away without any worries.

I think this is also the secret of an artist's uninhibited vitality and the endless stream of creative ideas. As a literary and artistic creator, I fully understand this childlike enthusiasm. And being able to be in the love of creation all the time is the happiest thing in the world as I understand it.

Perhaps because of this self-evident sympathy, Mr. Yang also often gives us small courses such as aesthetics and home design, and often he can teach the essence of a course in just a few words in half an hour.

In retrospect, those days of studying abroad with Mr. Yang were like the rain of the sun, and the scorching sun was filled with warm and hot rain... Sometimes I would also play the role of a "child", complaining to him that the pressure was too great, and the grand ideas were difficult to implement. But after getting along for a long time, I will understand that the harshness of his hatred of iron but not steel is the pursuit of excellence like a craftsman's spirit, and his expectation for my generation to grow and thrive - full of love!

In the future life, I will definitely miss this strictness, because when we grow up, it is difficult for us to have a teacher who can teach us by words and deeds like our father, and rarely have the opportunity to study the way of dealing with others.

He used to call me "Xiao Qian" affectionately and playfully, because it was a homonym for Xiao Qian, because I said that my experience was very similar to Xiao Qian in "Spirited Away" - although it was not very powerful in itself, it was because Sincere, even vulnerable, and along the way I met friends who were willing to help me... And Mr. Yang, like the two twin mother-in-laws in the play, is strict and loving, and they are two sides of one body.

Now, I am in Guangzhou, and I am thinking of Mr. Yang in Chiang Mai, Thailand. When I was busy with work, thinking of having a senior like him as my family, I found a sense of support and felt that I was not alone...

In addition to superb skills and the timeless "Yang's aesthetics", Mr. Yang is also keen on public welfare and charity.

During the 99 Charity Day last year, Mr. Yang was the ambassador of Beijing Sans Frontieres Charity Charity under my matchmaking. And from time to time, Mr. Yang will donate to the help information he sees, including A Wei, who I wrote an article to raise funds and participated in the rescue in the first two months.

In addition, Mr. Yang is also a senior "life blogger". As soon as you open his WeChat Moments, you will find that this is a boutique magazine; and the WeChat groups he has established have also become one after another with wonderful music and information. radio station being played.

Although he was in Chiang Mai, which was affected by the epidemic and suspended all international flights, Mr. Yang was not idle.

Yesterday he called me and said that he wanted to hold an exhibition of calligraphy and painting works called "Painting Characters". He invited friends who are destined to make an appointment first. After the restriction is lifted, they can come to his house in Chiang Mai to view the exhibition. Eat and pack.

Mr. Yang said that my writing is good, and I can help him write a "soft essay" for him to invite to the exhibition.

Regarding the origin of the "Painted Characters" exhibition, Mr. Yang said on the phone that it was about love for his family .

"My big family includes a father from Hunan, a big mother from Baoding, a little mother from Guangdong, I was born in Taiwan, and now I have grown up to be an old man in Thailand..." Teacher Yang joked, " I have always been a cosmopolitan family. child ."

Influenced by Zeng Guofan, he brought the local culture of calligraphy in Hunan. Teacher Yang's father was a calligrapher.

"I have been rebellious since I was a child. When my father was writing calligraphy, I used a brush beside me to draw watercolors. But my father still loved me very much and praised me kindly for my 'chirality'. So I have always loved splashing ink. ."

He was teased by Mr. Yang as a "brothel-style" interior design. Mr. Yang said that his ideal home would look like a brothel.

Today, Mr. Yang and his beloved partner seem to be more peaceful and comfortable in Chiang Mai than when they were in Beijing.

I am very envious that Mr. Yang can always engage in artistic creation. For me, art is the driving force of the soul and the source of human vitality. What Mr. Yang has done in his life is to create beauty, and to use beauty to bring sensory enjoyment and pleasure, just like a parent who loves home cooks food for children, injecting strength into their lives...

Counting all the way, Teacher Yang taught me too much...

Miss those ceremonial dinners in Yard No. 6;

I miss the long table banquet in the courtyard of Songzhuang and celebrities from all walks of life during the Dragon Boat Festival last year;

Missing those quiet and long times when we were together, those fresh herb dishes made us forget that we would still be parting...

"The rainy season in Chiang Mai has finally begun, and the summer heat is over..." Teacher Yang said in the group.

I looked out the window, it was also raining in Guangzhou,

Every drop of rain is a letter to the world,

The letter reads:

"I love you".
