Kim Chiu stunned the audience in Seoul on September 25, wearing a beautiful peach gown designed by Francis Libiran. She shared her elegant look on Instagram, expressing her excitement and gratitude for this career milestone.

“I’m in absolute disbelief and beyond grateful to attend such an international award ceremony. It feels surreal, like a dream I haven’t quite woken up from,” she wrote in her post.

An Emotional Acceptance Speech

During her acceptance speech, Kim became emotional as she dedicated the award to the late producer Deo Edrinal, who passed away earlier this year.

“I want to dedicate this honor to someone who is no longer with us, my boss, my mentor, and my dear friend, Sir Deo. He always pushed me to do my best and guided me to be the best I could be,” Kim said tearfully, recalling his influence on her career.

Celebrating Asian Talent

Kim Chiu shared the spotlight with other Outstanding Asian Star Award recipients, including Korean actors Byeon Woo-seok and Kim Hye-yoon from “Lovely Runner,” Siti Saleha from Malaysia, Singaporean actor Desmond Tan, Indonesian actress Ochi Rosdiana, and Thailand’s rising star Win Metawin.

Through this prestigious recognition, Kim Chiu continues to showcase Filipino talent on the global stage, making the Philippines proud.
