Wang Mo detained for tweeting tribute to Sun Lin
[Minsheng Watch, Nov. 24, 2023] Recently, Wang Mo, a citizen of Huai'an, Jiangsu Province, was taken away from the doorstep of Huai'an State Security for tweeting a message with a picture of a candlelight in memory of Sun Lin, and is now under administrative detention for 10 days. In addition, Wu Lihong, a defender of Taihu Lake in Wuxi, Jiangsu Province, was summoned by the Wuxi Municipal Public Security Bureau for his solidarity with Sun Lin, and has now been released and returned home, but his cell phone has been seized.
Previously, Wang Mo was detained by the police for going to Guangzhou to show solidarity with the opening of Wang Aizhong's case, and is still on bail. Recently, when Sun Lin, a citizen of Nanjing, Jiangsu Province, died suddenly after being visited by state security, Wang Mo wanted to travel to Nanjing to pay his respects, but was refused by state security. Subsequently, Wang Mo tweeted memorial tweets and candlelight pictures, and the state security quickly approached Wang Mo's home to take him away, and now Wang Mo has been placed under administrative detention for 10 days.
Wang Mo's tweets are as follows: "Mourning Sun Lin
Brother Sun Lin died suddenly and violently on the 17th, I twice verbally proposed to the head of the Huai'an District Branch Department to go to Nanjing to mourn his death, and the reply was that you are not allowed to leave Huai'an while you are on bail pending trial. Sun Lin and I came out of Nanjing Prison, there is a side relationship, thanks to the recognition of friends to get along with, I have always called him "Solitary wood brother". His sudden death, of course, I am sad, not able to do anything for him, only to mourn. I can't do anything for him, but I can only pay my respects. There will be no more Brother Soliloquy in the world after this farewell.
Some netizens said that the authorities have banned citizens from paying tribute to Sun Lin, who was beaten to death by Nanjing's state security guards! If you cover your mouth, you don't have to account for it? Does the crime of shedding human blood not need to be investigated?
The death of Sun Lin has caused great public anger, and the CCP has suppressed public opinion by forbidding talk about Sun Lin and visits to Nanjing. In the past few days, several members of the WeChat group discussing Sun Lin's death have been interviewed every day for this reason, asking: What do you think about Sun Lin's death? Where did the news of Sun Lin's death come from? They were asked not to participate in this topic in the group again, not to publish any relevant content, and to write a pledge not to go to Nanjing during this period. Several other group members were asked to leave the group.
In addition, Wu Lihong, a defender of Taihu Lake in Wuxi, Jiangsu Province, was rudely raided and detained by the Wuxi Public Security Bureau's anti-terrorism brigade for showing solidarity with Sun Lin, was summoned for 24 hours, and was sent home at noon on November 22nd.
Wu Lihong said, "I was taken away on the charge of being a 'terrorist' (a big joke). The police raided my home to check, because my two cell phones were never found (greatly annoyed), took me away from the City Public Security Bureau Counter-Terrorism Brigade, in fact, after the Mu is the Wuxi Municipal Public Security Bureau Political Security Detachment led."

The latest news on Sun Lin's death: Some volunteers have broken through the blockade to get closer to Sun Lin's former residence, and found that the entrance to the basement of the 13th building of Xinzhuang Garden in the Xuanwu District of Nanjing has been sealed by the Chinese Communist Party authorities with a silver, non-inductive steel anti-theft mesh, and there is no way for residents of the neighborhood to retrieve their bicycles in the basement to get down there.
Volunteers found that the neighborhood was heavily guarded, with strangers being closely scrutinized and followed, and no one was allowed to take photos.
