Not too bad to sell my stock Funds in last rebound

There’s still 13 to 2023, this year is not a good year on both stock markets and also crypto markets for sure, at the beginning of the year there was a war between Russia and Ukraine that brought us the first crash on the stock and crypto markets.

“Thanks” to Russian decided to invade Ukraine that making all the gas price went up a lot then the bad inflation afterward, my boss business got a massive hit due to the bad inflation as the economy in Europe is very bad since the Russia-Ukraine war.

Even worse, there was a Luna incident back in May this year that giving a bad storm to the crypto market, my portfolio was losing 60%+ during the incident.

I was struggling very hard to save my portfolio in the next few months after Luna incident and I though everything is going to settle, unfortunately there was a FTX incident happened few weeks ago, I barely recover from the Luna incident and now FTX…

Can’t say I totally avoid any lost on the FTX incident as I still having 50% crypto on hand in my crypto portfolio, but thank God I suddenly cash out the rest of 50% USDT to fiat therefore I am suffering 50% less on the lost now.

However I made a bad mistake on my stock Funds as I forgot to swap all my HK stock fund to the cash at the beginning of the year that making me losing HK$ 48000 in September this year, I was having HK$44000 profit at the beginning of the year.

Anyway, I buy further stock fund when it hit the 10 years low and sell them in last rebound, now my lost is talking about HK$16000 which is much better than losing HK$48000 for sure.

I still have 10% of HK stock fund on hand and will see can I sell them at higher before the Christmas and wait for the next crash, the inflation in US is still very bad, and I can’t see the economy in Europe will be improved in short time.

Therefore I needa keep more cash on hand to avoid the next crash, as I still have some crypto in my portfolio which is enough for now.
