Esports Proms took the lead in the first PWS match of 2024. They were followed by DANA in second place, while franchise team Genji finished the first day in fifth place.
After the conclusion of Week 1 of the 2024 PWS: Phase 1 Weekly Stage, which concluded online on Nov. 23, Esports Frome took the lead with 56 points.
In the first round of the day, AZLA Pentagram claimed 20 points with 10 kills from Chicken, followed by Guangdong Freaks in second place with 17 points from 11 kills. However, AZLA Pentagram was quickly eliminated in round two, scoring few points, while Guangdong was also eliminated with four points without earning any ranking points. Esports Proms swept the second round with a whopping 23 points, with DePlus Kia adding 13 points with seven kills in second place.
In round three, GNL swept through with 13 kills and Danawa began to defend their position. Eventually, Danawa took advantage of this and cleaned up the rest of the teams, taking a whopping 21 kills for a total of 31 points. Danawa managed to climb to the top spot in the middle as both Loki and Inonix held up well in the final moments, capitalizing on dangerous moments.
DK picked up three kills early in the fourth round but were eliminated, while Guangdong also picked up five kills to move up the standings but were 토토사이트 quickly wiped out. Genji then began to sneak in kills and climb up the standings, while DANAWA also ended the round with just one kill. Eventually, with Genji and Esports Proms remaining at full strength, it came down to a one-man GNL, with Esports Proms scoring the second chicken to take the lead with 52 points. TANAWA was in second place with 13 points.
In the final five rounds in Erangel, DANAWA suffered another early elimination, while Esports Frome also lost power. The mid-tier teams Guangdong-DK-Zenji began their battle for the top spot, with ZENji having the advantage as they maintained their power through the mid-late game. However, ZENji suffered a disappointing moment when they were attacked and wiped out by BSG on their way to the laner, giving BSG the final round chicken.
In the end, the day ended with Tanawa-BSG tied on 40 points, with Esports Proms leading the way, but with Tanawa taking second place and BSG in third, one point ahead in the standings.
