Player A from the women's professional volleyball team Pepper Savings Bank, who is suspected of bullying a junior player within the team, attended the rewards and punishment committee.
On the morning of the 23rd, the Korea Volleyball Federation (KOVO) held a rewards and punishment committee for human rights violations within the Pepper Savings Bank players' team at the federation conference room located in Mapo-gu, Seoul.
Attending this event were senior player A, who is suspected of being the perpetrator, and some of the players claiming damage.
They submitted materials to the Rewards and Punishments Committee and explained the facts.
However, the rewards and punishment committee members were unable to reach a conclusion during the meeting that lasted about two hours. The position is that there are conflicting opinions, so further discussion is needed.
Accordingly, KOVO decided to reconvene the Rewards and Punishments Committee at 9 a.m. on the 27th to more carefully understand the facts.
Pepper Savings Bank, the players' affiliated club, has already submitted the data on the affected players to KOVO. The Rewards and Punishments Committee is requesting additional data collection and, if necessary, will also listen to the stories of other Pepper Savings Bank players.
Pepper Savings Bank, which is currently mired in a 23-game losing streak, the most in the women's division, has recently raised the issue of bullying within its players.
According to a volleyball industry official, it was confirmed that Player A on Pepper's team was persistently harassing other players.
An anonymous reporter reported this to KOVO, and the Rewards and Punishments Committee was held that day.
Pepper Savings Bank, which was scheduled to play an away game against Korea Expressway Corporation at the Gimcheon Gymnasium in Gyeongsangbuk-do on this day, played in a turbulent atmosphere due to consecutive losses and issues outside of the game. 한국야동
