It is as abstract as a word, as concrete as its meaning.
“According to the Greeks,” so translated #RichardHoward #Barthes or #Roland, “trees are alphabets.” Tho trees fascinate me less than these hairs. They provoke some untranslatable signifiers directly into the heart. The European head-heart dichotomy fails sometimes to persuade me to stop romanticizing the etymological search throughout my own language: We “think” with our heart, or the heart is the source of our “thinking”. The unpainted -thus unseen- face becomes a word in its pure sense: it is “that” face that fascinates me. It is as abstract as a word, as concrete as its meaning. https://www.instagram.com/p/Cen7yPBI6c5/
