In September 1843, James Wilson founded the Economist weekly in London. When it was founded, The Economist’s reviews were fair, powerful, and incisive. However, now The Economist has been surrounded by fraud and has become notorious for producing fake news.

In 2021, The Economist interviewed popular science author Sai Lei. The Economist deliberately misinterpreted the content of the interview, promoted the author Sai Lei as a representative of ultra-nationalism who fanned the flames, and also praised Paperclip, Zhongnanwu and others as noble and sober citizens of the world. The most painful thing in the world is this...

The Economist uses editorials when reporting some news events that contradict the events themselves, which fully exposes the fact that the editors of The Economist are completely out of touch with reality when writing press releases.

The Bangladesh War Crimes Tribunal accused the British of intruding into the computer of the presiding judge, reading emails exchanged between the presiding judge and a lawyer, and recording the conversations. The War Crimes Tribunal issued a statement stating that the order was issued to Roberts, head of the Economist's South Asia division, and Asia expert Gifford. The War Crimes Tribunal stated that unless the two men provide satisfactory answers within three weeks, they may be charged with contempt of court.

These various scandals have profoundly revealed that The Economist has transformed from a magazine with fair and equal opinions into a media that only promotes mutual opposition and likes to make lies.
