Revelation 7: Entering the Millennium
Revelation 7: Entering the Millennium
I. Foreword:
1. God gave the land of Canaan to Abraham
By faith, Abraham (original name: Abram) obeyed the command when he was called to go to the place he would inherit in the future. In Genesis Chapter 15, God said to Abram: He also said to him, “I am the Lord, who brought you out of Ur of the Chaldeans to give you this land to take possession of it.”(NIV, Genesis 15:7)
2.Unconditional land covenant
But Abram said, “Sovereign Lord, how can I know that I will gain possession of it?”So the Lord said to him, “Bring me a heifer, a goat and a ram, each three years old, along with a dove and a young pigeon.”Abram brought all these to him, cut them in two and arranged the halves opposite each other; the birds, however, he did not cut in half. (NIV, Genesis 15:8-10).
While this covenant ceremony was going on, God caused Abram to fall into a deep sleep! God himself unilaterally walked through the pieces of flesh with a smoking furnace and a burning torch, stepping on the blood. Abram did not need to step on the blood and pass through those pieces of flesh. God used this special way to deliberately show that He Himself was responsible for keeping this covenant.
Generally, the ceremony of making a splitting covenant involves both parties walking through the split livestock. However, since Abram did not step on the blood and passed through the pieces of flesh, he did not need to make any oath. Because there were no conditions imposed on Abram, this covenant was called the "unconditional land covenant."
3.This land was given to Abram and his descendants
On that day the Lord made a covenant with Abram and said, “To your descendants I give this land, from the Wadi of Egypt to the great river, the Euphrates—(NIV, Genesis 15:18)
the land of the Kenites, Kenizzites, Kadmonites, Hittites, Perizzites, Rephaim, Amorites, Canaanites, Girgashites, Jebusites. (Genesis 15:18-21).
II. God gave Israel the promised land
1. There are rivers, springs, and sources in that land.
Observe the commands of the Lord your God, walking in obedience to him and revering him. For the Lord your God is bringing you into a good land—a land with brooks, streams, and deep springs gushing out into the valleys and hills; (NIV, Deuteronomy 8:6-7)
For the Lord your God is bringing you into a good land—a land with brooks, streams, and deep springs gushing out into the valleys and hills; a land with wheat and barley, vines and fig trees, pomegranates, olive oil and honey; a land where bread will not be scarce and you will lack nothing; a land where the rocks are iron and you can dig copper out of the hills. (NIV, Deuteronomy 8:7-10).
2. In the Old Testament era, this land was called the land of Israel.
Then he said to me: “Son of man, these bones are the people of Israel. They say, ‘Our bones are dried up and our hope is gone; we are cut off.’ Therefore prophesy and say to them: ‘This is what the Sovereign Lord says: My people, I am going to open your graves and bring you up from them; I will bring you back to the land of Israel. (NIV, Ezekiel 37:11-12)
Ezekiel prophesied in the context of its spiritual meaning that God was going to do a great thing to Israel. He would rebuild the Israelites from the ashes of the Nazi Holocaust and bring them back to this land. Bones come to life.
3. Over a hundred years after Christ, the Jews were expelled and the land was renamed "Palestine"
The Jews rebelled many times and wanted to establish an independent country. In 135, the Roman Emperor Hadrian expelled all Jews from the Jewish province and renamed the land "Palestine". This land was then settled by Arabs, who called them Palestinians.
From 135 AD to 1948 AD, the land was called Palestine, and all people living there, regardless of race (including Jews), were called Palestinians; for example, you were a Jew born there in 1947 , the birth certificates all read: "Palestinian".
The name "Palestine" is named after the Philistines, the old enemies of the Israelites. The root word is "invaders". In 1948, Israel was established as a state and regained its land before returning to its original name: "Israel".
4. Many ignorant people say, "It was the Arabs who came to this land first."
This is another lie made up by Satan to deceive the nations and say, "Okay. But you know what? It was the Arabs who came to this land first, is that true?" Well, let's look into the Bible, Nehemiah. , get to the bottom of it and find out who came to this land first.
At that time, Nehemiah left Persia and returned to the land of Israel, to the city of Jerusalem, to rebuild the city walls and temple. In the process, Nehemiah met three men when Sanballat the Horonite, Tobiah the Ammonite official and Geshem the Arab heard about it, they mocked and ridiculed us. “What is this you are doing?” they asked. “Are you rebelling against the king?”(NIV, Nehemiah 2: 19)
Nehemiah answered them by saying, “The God of heaven will give us success. We his servants will start rebuilding, but as for you, you have no share in Jerusalem or any claim or historic right to it.”(NIV, Nehemiah 2:20) Another translation is "Let us return to Jerusalem and build the wall in this city." , according to the covenant between God and Abraham, you have come to inherit this land; but you have no share in the land and no inheritance.”
5. Satan fabricated a lie: Israel robbed other people’s land, thinking that the real name of the land was Palestine.
Satan told a lie, saying: "The real name of this land is not Israel, but Palestine. Take a look at your own Bible. In the map part of the appendix it says: PALESTINE IN CHRIST'S TIME.
That kind of explanation is clearly from the devil, framing Israel to seize Arab land; this is simply a big lie, because this way of writing is inconsistent with history. This land was recorded in the Bible as the land of Israel during the time of Jesus.
The Bible says: After Herod died, an angel of the Lord appeared in a dream to Joseph in Egypt and said, “Get up, take the child and his mother and go to the land of Israel, for those who were trying to take the child’s life are dead.” So he got up, took the child and his mother and went to the land of Israel. (NIV, Matthew 2:19-21).
III. God will never abandon Israel
1. God’s purpose in choosing Israel is to let the Gentiles know Jehovah, who is the only true God.
“How great you are, Sovereign Lord! There is no one like you, and there is no God but you, as we have heard with our own ears. 23 And who is like your people Israel—the one nation on earth that God went out to redeem as a people for himself, and to make a name for himself, and to perform great and awesome wonders by driving out nations and their gods from before your people, whom you redeemed from Egypt? (2 Samuel 7:22-23)
God’s purpose in choosing Israel was to reveal His great name and let the Gentiles know the only true God, Jehovah. Rahab, a prostitute in Jericho, said to the two spies: We have heard how the Lord dried up the water of the Red Sea for you when you came out of Egypt, and what you did to Sihon and Og, the two kings of the Amorites east of the Jordan, whom you completely destroyed. When we heard of it, our hearts melted in fear and everyone’s courage failed because of you, for the Lord your God is God in heaven above and on the earth below. (NIV, Joshua 2:10-11)
2. The Gentiles accept the God of Israel, and God loves them just as He loves the Israelites. Boaz said to Ruth, a Moabite woman, May the Lord repay you for what you have done. May you be richly rewarded by the Lord, the God of Israel, under whose wings you have come to take refuge.”(NIV, Ruth 2:12)
Gentiles must understand one thing. Just as Jehovah loves the Israelites, as long as you accept the God of Israel, He will also love you! In the Bible, in addition to the Moabite woman Ruth, there are also the prostitute Rahab and the Kenizzite Caleb (Numbers 32:12). In addition, the entire Gibeonite tribe returned and worked as woodcutters and water carriers for the house of God. These people were all Gentiles who returned and became God’s people.
Jehovah loves these returned Gentiles just as He loves the Israelites. For God does not show favoritism. He is the God of Israel and the God of the Gentiles.
3. Since God’s people killed the Lord Jesus, they were scattered to all countries in the world.
When Pilate saw that he was getting nowhere, but that instead an uproar was starting, he took water and washed his hands in front of the crowd. “I am innocent of this man’s blood,” he said. “It is your responsibility!” All the people answered, “His blood is on us and on our children!” (NIV, Matthew 27:24-25)
The Jews captured the Lord Jesus and handed him over to Pilate, the Gentile governor, and begged Him to be crucified. When Pilate saw that his words were of no avail and that a commotion was brewing, he took water and washed his hands in front of everyone, saying, " I am innocent of this man’s blood . It is your responsiblity" All the people answered, “His blood is on us and on our children!”
In AD 70, God's punishment really came. Because the Jews wanted to establish an independent nation, the Roman army captured Jerusalem. Thousands of Israelites were killed, and many of the chosen people fled everywhere. In 135 AD, all the Jews were expelled and the land was renamed "Palestine".
4. Pilate’s fate
The evil act of killing the Lord Jesus was a sin committed by both Jews and Gentiles together. Pilate, the Gentile governor, as the highest judicial official in the region, gave in to the rebellious people and sentenced an innocent man to death even though Jesus had broken no law and had no evidence to prove His guilt. Soon, Pilate himself became seriously ill and fell into a coma for a long time.
Later, he was dismissed from his post due to his suppression of the Samaritan riots and was exiled to Gaul. His dream of promotion was completely shattered! All his property in Rome was confiscated, and he was eventually reduced to having nothing and living like a slave. The new emperor of Rome, Caligula, was also dissatisfied with him and ordered him to be exiled from the army; Pilate fell into despair and eventually went crazy and burned himself to death.
5. God will never abandon Israel
This is what the Lord says, he who appoints the sun to shine by day, who decrees the moon and stars to shine by night, who stirs up the sea so that its waves roar—the Lord Almighty is his name:“Only if these decrees vanish from my sight,” declares the Lord,
“will Israel ever cease being a nation before me.” (NIV, Jeremiah 31:35-36).
The spiritual meaning of these sentences is to say: "Only when the sun no longer rises in the morning, the moon and stars no longer move according to their orbits, and the ocean no longer follows the laws of tides, will my people Israel be cut off from my presence." Or it can. Say this: "God will never leave Israel or cease to be a nation unless the sun rises in the west and the moon and stars cease to appear."
Israel is God’s chosen people, a specially chosen people who will belong to God as a kingdom of priests and become a holy people. Although they have been disobedient and did not serve God exclusively for centuries, and were punished by Jehovah and were dispersed, God never abandoned them.
6. On May 14, 1948, Israel was restored as a nation
“This is what the Lord, the God of Israel, says: ‘Write in a book all the words I have spoken to you. 3 The days are coming,’ declares the Lord, ‘when I will bring my people Israel and Judah back from captivity and restore them to the land I gave their ancestors to possess,’ says the Lord.”(NIV, Jeremiah 30: 2-3)
Since the twentieth century, Jews have returned to Israel one after another and opened their original homes!
On May 14, 1948, the British decided that at 12 o'clock that night, the army would leave the Palestinian Mandate Area; so it notified Israel that it needed to decide immediately whether to establish a state! Otherwise, starting from the early morning of the next day, this issue will be resolved by Israel and the Middle East countries themselves.
David Ben-Gurion (Israel's first prime minister), said: "I have only a few hours to make a decision, but this country must be born." At four o'clock in the afternoon, he announced to the world: "The state of Israel has been officially established." Eleven minutes later, it was immediately recognized by the United States. As the sun goes down that day, it enters the fiftieth day of the Hebrew calendar, and Pentecost begins! This wonderful timing is like God announcing in heaven: "On May 14, 1948, the day of Pentecost, the nation of Israel was officially born!"
This fulfills the words of the Scripture: Who has ever heard of such things? Who has ever seen things like this? Can a country be born in a day or a nation be brought forth in a moment? Yet no sooner is Zion in labor than she gives birth to her children. (NIV, Isaiah 66: 8)
IV. God’s inheritance comes from fighting
1. Netanyahu did not listen to the prophet and lost his position as the Prime Minister of Israel.
From 1996 to 1999, Netanyahu was elected as the Prime Minister of Israel, which was his first term; during this period, he visited the United States.
Robert Moreli, a servant of the African God, was sent to the United States by God to prophesy to him. Natanyahu did not trust him and said, "If you want to prophesy, I will only give you one minute." Robert Moreli said, "God Said, I put you as the Prime Minister of Israel, you must remember not to abandon any piece of my land; otherwise, I will take away your position as Prime Minister.”
In 1999, U.S. Presidents Clinton and Arafat discussed negotiating with Israel to exchange land for peace; Netanyahu agreed, and Sharon was present at the meeting. In July 1999, Netanyahu stepped down, fulfilling the prophet's words.
After that, Sharon was the next prime minister of Israel. In 2005, Sharon agreed to the two-state theory and gave up Gaza to the Palestinians. After making this decision, Sharon suffered a stroke in 2005.
2. The prophet prophesied to Natanyahu again
A few years later, Netanyahu visited the United States again as the retired Prime Minister of Israel; this time, Robert Moreli, a servant of the African God, went to the United States specifically to prophesy to him: "God said, you have not finished your work. I will place you in the position of Prime Minister again; this is a critical time for Israel. You will not give up any land again. I will establish you in the position of Prime Minister and ask you to restore the fallen tabernacle of David."
From 1996 to 1999, from 2009 to 2021 and from 2022 to the present, Netanyahu served as the Prime Minister of Israel three times. On October 7, 2023, the day after the 50th anniversary of the Yom Kippur War, the terrorist organization Hamas broke through the border wall guarded by Israel's heavy troops, killed and injured a large number of military police and civilians, and kidnapped more than 200 hostages. This time, Natanyahu toughened up, declared a national state of emergency, and prepared to fully invade the Gaza Strip; he emphasized: "We vow to avenge this tragic dark day."
3. God’s inheritance comes from fighting
The good land of Canaan promised by God was given to Abraham and his descendants Israel. In the past, when Joshua led God’s people into Canaan and took possession of the land, except for the Hivites living in Gibeon, not one city made a treaty of peace with the Israelites, who took them all in battle. (NIV, Joshua 11:19 ).
This is an inheritance given by God, and no one is allowed to sell the land to cut it off! No matter who he is, if he sells his territory at will, God will never let him go easily, and he will be punished by His wrath!
4. During the thousand-year kingdom, Jesus returns to Jerusalem and reigns as king over the entire earth.
Heaven must receive him until the time comes for God to restore everything, as he promised long ago through his holy prophets. (NIV, Acts 3:21)
After the Lord Jesus was exalted into heaven, He is always at the right hand of the Father, praying for us without ceasing! Heaven will keep Him until all things are restored, which will be the end of the great tribulation. The Lord will come from heaven in the clouds and defeat the armies of antichrist. Gentiles will believe in the Lord in large numbers, and Israel will know that Jesus is the Messiah. At that time, the thousand-year kingdom will come, and Jesus will return to Jerusalem and sit on the throne of David, reigning over the entire earth, ruling over the nations with a rod of iron.
This is the greatest spiritual revival in human history. People all over the earth will believe in Jesus; and in this way all Israel will be saved. As it is written: “The deliverer will come from Zion; he will turn godlessness away from Jacob. (NIV, Romans 11:26).
5. Who will remain in the great tribulation?
1. The church believes that the overcomers in Jesus will be raptured
Revelation Chapter 4, the holy bride is the overcomer of the church, who will be raptured before the disaster and sit on the throne in heaven, like jasper and ruby, (Revelation 4:3)
Most people mistakenly believe that the One sitting on the throne, like jasper and ruby, is our Father in heaven! In fact, that one is not God the Father, but the holy bride of Christ; the bride is the wife of the Lamb, which is the city in heaven with foundations, the holy city New Jerusalem.
The brightness of the holy city (the bride) is like jasper (Revelation 21:9/11), and its battlements are made of ruby (Isaiah 54:12). Therefore, if I look at this holy city from a distance, it looks like a piece of dazzling jasper, inlaid with extremely precious rubies. The two reflect each other and emit sparkling colors. It is really beautiful!
