What Arm is talking Neoverse in COMPUTEX Taipei Taiwnan

Between May and June, Computex Taipei was held. The future is built on Arm. New structure of compute, AI, cloud data base on series of Neoverse. The ARM Neoverse is a group of 64-bit ARM processor cores licensed by Arm Holdings. The cores are intended for datacenteredge computing, and high-performance computing use. The group consists of ARM Neoverse V-Series, ARM Neoverse N-Series, and ARM Neoverse E-Series.

Boost Performance and Efficiency With Arm Neoverse V2 Cores. As the parallel compute capabilities of GPUs continue to advance, workloads can still be gated by serial tasks run on the CPU. A fast and efficient CPU is a critical component of system design to enable maximum workload acceleration. The NVIDIA Grace CPU integrates Arm Neoverse V2 cores to deliver high performance in a power-efficient design, making it easier for scientists and researchers to do their life’s work.

Arm is happy to announce the launch of our Neoverse V1 and N2 platforms. These platforms represent the continued execution of an Arm Neoverse roadmap first unveiled back in 2018. They also represent the achievement of the performance goals we communicated at that unveiling.  Before we communicated a performance uplift target of +30% for each of the first few generations of Arm Neoverse platforms over their predecessor. With the Neoverse V1 platform, we have achieved a +50% Instruction-Per-Cycle (IPC) performance uplift over Neoverse N1. And with the Neoverse N2 platform we have achieved a +40% IPC performance uplift over Neoverse N1. So, we have met and exceeded our performance targets.
