Asian Cup Jordanian Goal Scorer Al-Tamari does not Appear to be Injured... “I’m just a Little Tired, But I’m Healthy”
Klinsmann's semifinal opponent, Jordan's key striker Moussa al-Tamari, appears to be healthy, contrary to reports.
The Jordan soccer team trained at the Al Egla Training Center in Doha, Qatar, in the late afternoon of the 3rd (local time).
This was the first training for Jordan, who defeated Tajikistan 1-0 in the quarterfinals of the 2023 Asian Football Confederation (AFC) Qatar Asian Cup the previous day, ahead of the semifinals against Korea.
Korea, which also played the quarterfinals against Australia the day before, underwent light training that day focusing on recovery. 안전놀이터
However, unlike Korea, Jordan conducted normal training that day.
Since the game was played in the early afternoon the previous day, I decided that I had enough rest.
All 26 players participated in training.
Altamari also appeared at the training ground.
After the Tajikistan game, the Arab media 'Al Arabi' reported that Al-Tamari was injured.
In the match against Tajikistan, Altamari performed poorly, making frequent passing mistakes.
He was unable to show the sharp form he showed in the group stage and round of 16.
However, Altamari at the training ground seemed light in his movements for an injured player.
Altamari, who warmed up his body by constantly lifting the ball, completed normal training with his colleagues when full-scale training began.
He didn't appear to be doing light training alone, and his expression was bright.
The Jordan national team's media officer did not properly confirm Al-Tamari's physical condition. He just laughed, saying,
I don't know that part in detail. I can't even tell the player's face properly from a distance.
Jordanian reporter Saeed, who works for the Arab broadcaster MBC, said that al-Tamari's body was normal.
Reporter Said said, "I asked Altamari directly.
He said he was not injured, just a little tired.
There is absolutely no problem with his joints or muscles."
Al-Tamari, 26, is the Jordan national team's only 'big leaguer' and a key resource for the offensive line.
He plays for Montpellier in French Ligue 1 and has scored 14 goals in 54 of his international appearances.
He has the highest level of speed in League 1, and his decision-making ability is also good, so he is regarded as the number one person to watch out for by the teams facing Jordan in this tournament.
In the second match of the group stage against Korea, Altamari was blocked by Kim Min-jae (Munich) and did not show a very impressive performance.
However, Minjae Kim cannot play in this semifinal against Jordan due to accumulated warnings.
As for Klinsmann, even without Kim Min-jae, he must block Altamari well to easily advance to the finals.
The semifinal match between Korea and Jordan will kick off at 00:00 am on the 7th, Korean time, at Ahmad Bin Ali Stadium in Al Rayyan.
