NFT's on the rise: Global search interest for NFT peaks

Non Fungible Tokens (NFT’s) are taking the crypto markets by storm. NFT’s first turned the eyeballs with Cryptokitties and ever since never looked back. The interest of a lot many celebrities in NFT’s seems to have worked the charm as well.

Latest is, according to Google Trends the worldwide search results for the term NFT have surpassed crypto searches. Which is a massive achievement. The sharp increase in search results for NFT’s is a clear indication of the strong interest in digital collectibles. This can be easily termed as the awakening of crypto community towards digital collectibles as the transactions for auctions on OpenSea surpasses $10 billion.

Japan, South Korea, Taiwan, Turkey and Russia made it to the top five list for the searches during the past 90 days. While users from United States, India, Australia and Canada showed strong interest in Crypto.

The massive rise in the demand for NFTs is apparent across all digital platforms. Giant companies such as Nike and Adidas are making their moves in metaverse domain NFTs. Celebrities are not behind in this race either, the Russian mixed martial player Khabib Nurmagomedov, famous Rapper Snoop Dog, Hollywood actress Mila Kunis, and Bollywood actor Salman Khan are advancing their own NFT collections to general public. Video games based on NFT’s are another massive influence on users, for example, certain NFT’s allows you to use your collectibles on those gaming platforms.

NFT’s are useful in many ways. Because of NFT’s artists are now able to share and showcase their work without any physical presence, copyright and piracy issues. While the underlying contract also empowers and guaranty the collectors right.
