My porfolio

I am thankful that I went to meet with a crypto mining startup back in 2015. I still recall when listening to the founder explaning about Bitcoin, I was mesmerized by the thoughtful design of Satoshi Nakamoto.

I decided to buy a Antminer S7 to test out how a miner solves a math puzzle, generates blocks and gets BTC rewards. Back then, the reward for every block generates 25 BTC.

During the ICO era, ETH was rising like rocket and I swapped a portion of my previous BTC to ETH.

I used my ETH to participate in ICO’s and that was the time I started to own multiple altcoins.

Then, USDT was born. It maid off-ramp redundent. Sellers of BTC simply hold USDT for future trades.

Seeing the success of Ethereum, many ETH-killer layer-1 challengers began to emerged.

Of course, we should not forget about CryptoKitties. These kitties paved road for the recent NFT craze.

When Cosmos Hub was born, creating layer-1 blockchain almost became a no-brainer. Even Binance’s own blockchain is built on Cosmos SDK and Tendermint.

Nowadays, DEX or Decentralized Exchange has become common and DeFi protocols for lending and Yield Farming were born.

If you ask me what do I hold in my portfolio. I dedicated 50% to BTC, 30% to ETH, SOL and AVAX, and 20% to the Cosmos DeFi Ecosystem such as ATOM, OSMO, JUNO, and unfortunately LUNA and UST 🙁

For NFTs, I own lands in metaverses and I still hold on to many CryptoKitties. Maybe there will be a big come back 10 years later 🙂
