I. Introduction: Introduction to the Day of Atonement

1. The origin of Yom Kippur

The Lord called Moses to go up the mountain to get the tablets of the Law, but the people were worshiping the golden calf at the foot of the mountain. When he came down from the mountain and saw the people being presumptuous, he broke the tablets of the Law in anger. Moses went to make atonement for the sins of the people and asked the LORD to forgive him. If he refused, his name would be blotted out of the book of life. The LORD did not agree and replied to Moses, “Whoever has sinned against me I will blot out of my book." ( NIV, Exodus 32:33)

Moses did not lose heart and repeatedly begged God to forgive sins for the sake of the people! In the end, because the people also repented, Jehovah finally agreed! Moses once again followed God's command and went up the mountain to get the tablets of the law. He fasted on the mountain for forty days, and the day he came down was the tenth day of the seventh month. He designated this day as the Day of Atonement, because God had forgiven Israel's sins.

2. Only on the Day of Atonement can the high priest enter the Holy of Holies.

But only the high priest entered the inner room, and that only once a year, and never without blood, which he offered for himself and for the sins the people had committed in ignorance.(NIV, Hebrews 9:7)

In the days of the Old Testament, the high priest could only enter the Holy of Holies alone once a year on the Day of Atonement;

The high priest must first purify himself and enter the Holy of Holies with blood to offer and atone for the sins of himself and the people.

3.fasting and praying

“The tenth day of this seventh month is the Day of Atonement. Hold a sacred assembly and deny yourselves, and present a food offering to the LORD. Do not do any work on that day, because it is the Day of Atonement, when atonement is made for you before the LORD your God. Those who do not deny themselves on that day must be cut off from their people. (NIV, Leviticus 23:27-29)

On the Day of Atonement, Jews will fast for 25 hours, pray, meditate, and approach God humbly throughout the day, pray for forgiveness of sins, and live this festival in repentance and confession; this festival will be observed from generation to generation.

4. Casting lots for two male goats

Then he is to take the two goats and present them before the LORD at the entrance to the tent of meeting. He is to cast lots for the two goats—one lot for the LORD and the other for the scapegoat. (NIV, Leviticus 16:7-8)

⑴. One is the atonement goat (typifying the Lord Jesus, who atones for the sins of the world): This is the day of atonement

This atonement goat was slaughtered as a sin offering and was to belong to the Lord. The Lord Jesus is the true atonement goat. He shed His blood and sacrificed His life on the cross. He died, was buried, resurrected and ascended to heaven. On Pentecost, the Holy Spirit was sent down to complete the complete salvation of blood, water and Holy Spirit.

⑵. One is a scapegoat (returning people’s sins to Satan): This is the day of God’s revenge.

The other scapegoat was to be given to Azazel. All the sins of the people were put on the head of this sheep because of the laying on of hands by the high priest; it was exiled to the wilderness, and eventually wandered and starved to death, and its sins were returned to Azazel (the devil).

5. The Year of Jubilee is announced on the Day of Atonement: liberty, preaching of the gospel, and vengeance of God.

(1) liberty; each of you is to return to your family property and to your own clan

Then have the trumpet sounded everywhere on the tenth day of the seventh month; on the Day of Atonement sound the trumpet throughout your land. Consecrate the fiftieth year and proclaim liberty throughout the land to all its inhabitants. It shall be a jubilee for you; each of you is to return to your family property and to your own clan. (NIV, Leviticus 25:9-10)

(2) Preach the gospel to the poor (scapegoat), this is the day of God’s revenge (scapegoat)

The Spirit of the Sovereign LORD is on me, because the LORD has anointed me to proclaim good news to the poor. He has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim freedom for the captives and release from darkness for the prisoners (NIV, Isaiah 61:1)

(3) This is the day of vengeance of our God (One is a scapegoat to return our sins to Satan)

to proclaim the year of the LORD’s favor (The Year of Jubilee) and the day of vengeance of our God (NIV, Isaiah 61:2)

II. The Lord Jesus, the high priest, in the Holy of Holies in heaven, atones for the sins of those in the Great Tribulation

1. The high priest of the Old Testament entered the Holy of Holies for the first time on the Day of Atonement.

He is to take a censer full of burning coals from the altar before the LORD and two handfuls of finely ground fragrant incense and take them behind the curtain. He is to put the incense on the fire before the LORD, and the smoke of the incense will conceal the atonement cover above the tablets of the covenant law, so that he will not die. (NIV, Leviticus 16:12/13).

In the Old Testament, the high priest had to atone for the sins of himself and the people on the Day of Atonement once a year. On that day, you need to enter and exit the Holy of Holies three times to perform your ministry before God.

⑴. When entering the Holy of Holies for the first time, the high priest put incense on the fire. The smoke curled up, filled the front of the ark, and covered the mercy seat. This rising smoke is the high priest's prayer, ascending to the throne of God's grace, that he may receive mercy and find grace so that he may not perish.

⑵. Enter for the second time and sprinkle bull’s blood to make atonement for himself and his household

“Aaron shall bring the bull for his own sin offering to make atonement for himself and his household, and he is to slaughter the bull for his own sin offering....He is to take some of the bull’s blood and with his finger sprinkle it on the front of the atonement cover; then he shall sprinkle some of it with his finger seven times before the atonement cover. (NIV, Leviticus 16:11,14).

⑶. The third time he entered and sprinkled the blood of the goat, the high priest made atonement for the sins of the people and cleansed the tent of meeting, which is among them in the midst of their uncleanness.

“He shall then slaughter the goat for the sin offering for the people and take its blood behind the curtain and do with it as he did with the bull’s blood: He shall sprinkle it on the atonement cover and in front of it. In this way he will make atonement for the Most Holy Place because of the uncleanness and rebellion of the Israelites, whatever their sins have been. He is to do the same for the tent of meeting, which is among them in the midst of their uncleanness. (NIV, Leviticus 16:15/16).

2. The Lord Jesus, the high priest, entered the Holy of Holies in heaven. It is recorded three times in the Book of Revelation. The following is the first time.

Another angel, who had a golden censer, came and stood at the altar. He was given much incense to offer, with the prayers of all God’s people, on the golden altar in front of the throne. (NIV, Revelation 8:3)

From the high priest in the Old Testament, we enter the Holy of Holies and burn incense, pray and worship! You can understand Revelation Chapter 8. The angel holding the golden censer burned incense in front of the mercy seat, and the smoke rose up. He is the Lord Jesus, the high priest. He ministers in the Holy of Holies in heaven and has many gifts of incense. To Him, before the throne of grace of the Father, to intercede for our sins.

The smoke of the angel's incense curling up is Jesus' prayer for our atonement; together with the prayers of all the saints, it is offered on the golden altar in front of the throne, earnestly asking the Father for abundant mercy, so that we can be great in love. Show mercy and cleanse the bride, holy and without blemish, so that she can be raptured victoriously before the disaster.

⑴. Jesus entered the Holy of Holies in heaven to pray for us all

behind the curtain (the Holy of Holies), where our forerunner, Jesus, has entered on our behalf. He has become a high priest forever, in the order of Melchizedek. (NIV, Hebrews 6:20)

Christ’s wedding to the bride is coming soon, and in the days before the Lord’s coming, Jesus will enter the Holy of Holies in heaven to pray for us; He wants all brothers and sisters to be raptured, and does not want anyone to stay in the great tribulation.

⑵. The prayers of all the saints must also enter the Holy of Holies together.

We have this hope as an anchor for the soul, firm and secure. It enters the inner sanctuary behind the curtain (the Holy of Holies) ….Let us then approach God’s throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need. (NIV, Hebrews 6:19, 4:16)

Brothers and sisters in churches around the world, the fasting and prayers of everyone, the collective spiritual prayer in tongues and the breaking of bread to receive the Holy Communion, will also pass through the veil and enter the Holy of Holies in heaven. All the churches are looking forward to the bridegroom coming to marry the bride soon, and the bride to be plump, grown, and fully adorned. Together we will be raptured in victory and sit down with the Lord at the wedding supper of the Lamb.

3. Jesus ascended to the presence of God (heaven) together with the prayers of all the saints.

The smoke of the incense, together with the prayers of God’s people, went up before God from the angel’s hand. (NIV, Revelation 8:4)

The Lord Jesus, the high priest, took much incense from heaven and entered the Holy of Holies to burn incense. The smoke of the incense slowly rose up over the Ark of the Covenant! This is the prayer of the Lord Jesus, which should be united with the prayers of all the saints and offered together on the golden altar in front of the throne. The smoke of the incense, together with the fasting and prayers of the saints, will rise from the hands of the angel (the Lord Jesus the High Priest) to the presence of the Father who is seated on the throne.

4. God’s punishment and revenge

Then the angel (Lord Jesus) took the censer, filled it with fire from the altar, and hurled it on the earth; and there came peals of thunder, rumblings, flashes of lightning and an earthquake. (NIV, Revelation 8:5)

The Lord Jesus took the censer and poured the altar fire onto the ground. Then there were thunders, loud noises, lightnings, and earthquakes. This was the outbreak of God's wrath, the day of His vengeance, punishing those who killed the saints. This is not yet the coming of the great tribulation, but the labor pains of women before the tribulation. They warn the world that the day of the Lord is approaching, and they need to believe in Jesus quickly to avoid staying in the terrible three and a half years.

The 2004 "South Asian tsunami" was triggered by a magnitude 9 earthquake under the sea, killing about 300,000 people! Those who survived the disaster were frightened when they recalled it, and were frightened and panicked when they heard the sound of waves in the sea. However, this terrible and terrifying tsunami is just a precursor to the catastrophe, and the real final disaster has not yet come.

5. When the first angel blows his trumpet, it means the great disaster is coming.

The first angel sounded his trumpet (NIV, Revelation 8:7)

The seven angels standing before God are in heaven preparing to sound the seven trumpets! When the first angel blows the trumpet, it means that the great tribulation is coming; at that time, all those who have not been raptured will cry bitterly and repent! If those who remain in the great tribulation, they will have to pay a price thousands of times to be saved and enter the thousand-year kingdom!

3. South Asia tsunami

On December 26, 2004, a major earthquake occurred in the Indian Ocean, triggering a huge tsunami, commonly known as the South Asian tsunami. It occurred at 7:58:55 in the morning. The epicenter was located 160 kilometers west of Aceh Province, Sumatra Island, Indonesia. The earthquake moment magnitude was 9.1 to 9.3, triggered a wave height of 15 to 30 meters, with a maximum of 51 meters, forming a huge tsunami.

Why was God so angry that a huge earthquake triggered a tsunami in South Asia, killing about 300,000 people or missing?

1. Because in these disaster-stricken areas, especially Indonesia, which is the most severely affected, the country's Islamists persecute Christians, and anti-Christian dissatisfaction is actually very high. During several riots in Indonesia, many Chinese women were raped and murdered in groups, Christians were persecuted, churches were destroyed, buildings were burned, property was looted, and money was looted.

2. Sub-disaster areas such as Thailand, Sri Lanka, Maldives... These places are red light district hotspots, full of all kinds of pornographic businesses, including prostitution, shemales, homosexuals, child molestation, child prostitutes, etc., attracting a large number of tourists every year. The night before the disaster, that is, December 25, people in the area did not commemorate the birth of the Lord, but engaged in "immoral transactions." Before they woke up, the disaster had already come.

3. Many of the victims of the tsunami disaster were tourists from all over the world, especially the West. They took advantage of the Christmas holiday to travel to other places, but they never expected to encounter natural disasters. The Western world, mainly Europe and the United States, has a long history and origin of Christianity. Unfortunately, the church has declined! Many Westerners have been far away from God. For them, the greatest meaning of Christmas is just a holiday of eating, drinking and having fun.

4. There are also many Christians among the tourists who were victimized. Why don’t they stay in their hometowns during Christmas, worship in church to remember the Lord, and seize the opportunity to preach the gospel? Naturally, they can avoid this disaster. I think that if a person who truly loves the Lord with a pure heart encounters such a big tsunami, the Lord will keep you safe; He can send an angel in time to save you from all evil.

4. California Earthquake

"When you hear of wars and rumors of wars, do not be alarmed. These things must take place, but the end is not yet come. People will rise against people, and kingdom against kingdom; there will be earthquakes and famines in many places. These are all calamities (disasters: The original text is the beginning of the troubles of childbirth” (Mark 13:7-8).

On December 5, 2024, after a strong earthquake with a magnitude of 7.0 occurred off the coast of Northern California in the United States, the authorities issued a tsunami warning for large areas of the coast of California and Oregon. A 73-year-old citizen revealed that this was the largest earthquake he had experienced in the 53 years since he moved here; some even described the moment of the earthquake as being in Drop Tower.

American Pastor Brandon Biggs’s testimony is as follows:

The Lord Jesus said to me, this is just a warning, a bigger earthquake is coming! Previously, I shared a vision I saw, a huge quilt sewn with gold threads covering the Yellowstone National Park in the United States and the entire northern region. This area is a very active volcanic area, but the Lord has been suppressing it. There seems to have been no large-scale volcanic eruptions since the founding of the United States!

The Lord showed me again a blond woman, hot and very vain, standing in front of a mirror combing her hair! The Lord said, "O America! I have weighed you in the balance and shown you to be deficient; your pride has turned your nose up to heaven and you have become a stench in the eyes of your heavenly Father."

I saw another vision, a baby on the ground covered in filth, diapers, and surrounded by flies because the preacher did not teach the truth. The gold quilt was cut open, the protective fence removed; then I saw a massive earthquake, from San Francisco to Portland to Seattle, and the entire West Coast region was cracked open and flooded with water. influx, seemingly separated from the mainland.

Then the Lord showed me that the entire area from British Columbia to Alaska was on fire. I also saw a huge tsunami. The earthquake caused the land to slide and the pressure created a huge tsunami. This tsunami swept through Japan and the entire country was covered with water! In addition, there are long-path tornadoes, large hurricanes, and various natural disasters.

These are God’s warnings to mankind, and they are just part of the labor pains before disaster. We can prevent some things through prayer, but some things will definitely happen. The Lord told me, “You have seen the labor pains before the Lord came, and now they will be accompanied by earthquakes, tsunamis, volcanic eruptions, and strange signs from the sun, moon, and stars in the sky. This will be another wave of labor pains.

5. The day of the Lord’s coming is approaching

You need to persevere so that when you have done the will of God, you will receive what he has promised. For, “In just a little while, he who is coming will come and will not delay.” (NIV, Hebrews 10:36-37)

The following is the testimony of Pastor Brandon Biggs: Satan believes that the time has come for him to take over the earth.

1. Satan warned in heaven that the time of great tribulation has arrived.

The court in heaven is held, and Satan is actually the prosecutor. He believes that the three and a half years of catastrophe have arrived, and it is time for him to take over the earth!

My guardian angel said: "You have been called to the courts of heaven to record the cases that are now being heard; the purpose is to make God's people aware of the urgency of time. You must awaken the bride and warn that the coming of the Lord is near. , time is running out!

Two angels escorted me to the Supreme Court in heaven. I was the first to arrive, and the card on my seat read "Recorder." Soon the other four also arrived one after another. One is a prophet from the Western world, one is a Chinese woman, one is a lady from Africa, and one is a man from South America.

2. Heavenly Father is the presiding judge

Heavenly Father is sitting on the central throne of judgment, and he is the only one whose face cannot be seen clearly! On the right are Noah, Abraham, Moses, King David, Elijah, and Elisha; on the left are John the Baptist, Peter, James, John, Andrew, and Paul. These people are the specially selected judges for this case.

Satan is suing, claiming that Adam's reign was over and that he was allowed to take over the earth for a period of time, as written in the Bible. There was silence in the courtroom.

3. Jesus is the defense attorney

Jesus is the defense lawyer, standing in front of the defense table. Also sitting on the prosecution table is a handsome man, who is Satan. He said, "Adam was given nearly six thousand years to rule the earth. This lease of dominion has to be paid." Give me, I have biblical authority to control the earth for seven years."

Jesus stood up from the defense table and said, "I have paid the death penalty for every generation of fallen mankind, including this generation that will be harvested; I have also stripped Satan of his control and cannot harm those who truly believe in God. Hearings on this matter were held in 2015, and the courts have granted a period of respite to allow more people on earth to be redeemed and the promises made to my people to be fulfilled.

4. The Lord Jesus protested: He came to marry the bride only after the harvest was over.

Jesus said, “I have recorded everything in this scroll.” He gave the scroll to God the Father and another copy to Satan; and continued, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance. All have the opportunity to hear the gospel and be saved from destruction." Satan is eager to look through the scrolls to see if there is any evidence to stop it from taking over the earth immediately and starting the great tribulation on the earth.

Jesus went on to say: "My chaste bride still holds fast to the faith and continues to stand firm in the Lord amidst all persecutions! I have the right to ask for an extension of the moratorium. I implore the court to inspect the "Scrolls of the Conclave," which record the Last Days. The secret of the harvest! The bride destined for eternal life must all be saved before the Tribulation will begin.” Satan knew nothing about this because the scrolls were never shown to him.

5. Heavenly Father’s judgment: Satan loses, Christ wins

After some deliberation, the court voted. Every judge voted in favor of extending the grace period for the Saints. Then, the great Father God spoke! He said, "Based on the evidence presented by the defense, the prosecution cannot end the deadline on earth. I will extend a period of time to the victorious bride group, the saints of the church. However, the labor pains and judgments on earth will not stop!"
