The world No. 1 Chinese men's national table tennis team defeated France (No. 4) 3-0 (3-0 3-2 3-1) in the men's main draw tournament final of the BNK Busan Bank 2024 Busan World Table Tennis Championships at BEXCO Choppy Hall (Venue 1) in Haeundae-gu, Busan, Korea, at 8 p.m. on Friday.

The Chinese men's team won their 11th consecutive World Championship team title. I owe this victory to my five teammates and the fans," she said, drawing loud applause from the home fans who filled the stadium to cheer her on.

With this victory, the Chinese women's team extended their winning streak to six titles, dating back to Dortmund 2012. They have reached the final 26 times since Nagoya in 1971, a streak of 12 years for consecutive titles and 53 years for consecutive finals. Japan, on the other hand, who were looking to win the title 53 years after their 1971 victory, settled for their fifth consecutive silver medal.
