As the saying goes: ‘The course of true love never did run smooth’ –well it certainly does on your arms, legs, neck, back, chest, underarms, upper lip, bikini line after a course of Laser Hair Removal

With the party season hard on our heels, and the need for saving money crucial in today’s uncertain climate, why not consider Laser Hair Removal and ditch those razors, shave foam and endless waxing appointments at the salon for good!

Its time to get money savvy and say hi to Laser Hair Removal – ‘the smooth operator’

So, what is it?

Apart from doing what shaving or waxing cannot (through penetrating the dermis of the skin and destroying hair follicles to greatly reduce further hair growth), this minimally invasive treatment is ideal for people with sensitive skin or prone to irritation.

The number of sessions wilt depend upon the client, but on average, it will be between 3-8 every 4 to 6 weeks to target the various stages in the hair growth cycle and achieve results running into years! The hair will not shed immediately but will after a few days.

So, how does it work?

During the treatment, a precise, focussed beam of light is emitted onto the unwanted hair. The heat that is released targets the melanin (pigmentation) in the follicles and destroys them. This damage delays the time the hair will grow back, and any hair that does resurface will be a lot finer and less coarse.

DID YOU KNOW? The more melanin your body produces, the darker your skin and eyes are?!

The amount of melanin can also depend on the success of treatment, so arranging a consultation with your practitioner to discuss the process in depth is highly recommended.
