Optical coating is a key part of optical components, which integrates optics, electronics, materials and coatings. The thickness and uniformity of the optical coating determine the optical performance of the film, which needs high technical requirements and high technical standards. The necessity of optical coating test

  • Standard optical film: If the thickness is not uniform, there will be the disadvantage of unstable optical performance, resulting in low quality of its optical components, and its life span will be greatly reduced.

  • Customized optical film: To meet the customer's requirements for the optical performance of optical components (birefringence characteristics, Bragg characteristics and refractive index), it is usually necessary to adopt special technologies to achieve functional customized synthesis. Considering the appearance and performance, it is expected that the optical film has a highly uniform thickness. Therefore, the thickness of the optical film needs to be accurately tested.
