Ferris Wheel
I have learnt this word “Ferris” since high school, but someone specially raise this word in a class and make me a remarkable time; this is a very special class I was invited to attend.
2018, my best friend passed away.
I was doing my best to go for saying last goodbye but her funeral was just a private and family only per her will and the local religious culture; no regret on this but more regret between her and me was the time I did not escape from my work and watching the cherry blossoming with her at the hillside by her home corner.
Once I arrived her home, right while her mom passed forward me her wedding kimono and her last message to me; I know we will be together for the all next every coming all cherry blossoming season, chatting happily under those pinky waves.
Because of her, I make good friend with her best friend; she invited me to her English tutor’s class, a free talk class. The tutor was born 70 something years ago Greek, he had very much experience to work globally for politicians and ambassadors; then he settled himself in Japan.
He was very happy for our first time meeting excepts my English speaking too fast for his students. He suggested to open a new special topic that they never had, we started from the Ferris in Kobe Harborland; which was amazing one presenting their holistic image of Kobe.
We talked, joyfully and even all had forgotten about our hunger.
In this sadly COVID-19, Mr Andy left the world and his lovable students. And, we did not have our expecting next-time meeting and in class chatting again.
