LikeCoin Chain Proposal #11 - Increasing the maximum number of active validators from 25 to 50
Background
When LikeCoin chain was first launched in Nov 15 2019, the number of active LikeCoin validators was limited to be 7.
On 26th July, 2020, the LikeCoin Chain Proposal #3 which set the maximum number of active validator to be 25, was passed. The number of active validators of LikeCoin Chain has grown substantially since the passing of the LikeCoin Chain Proposal #3 and approaches the maximum number of active validator. As at 26th March, 2021, the number of active is 24.
We believe it is good to the LikeCoin Chain to increase the maximum number of active validators from 25 to 50.
Proposal
To increase the maximum number of active validators from 25 to 50.
Expected results
If the proposal is passed:
- LikeCoin Chain will be further decentralized and more secure.
- Likers shall have more validators to choose for delegation.
