why should you keep hydrated.

Hydration: Why It’s So Important. Your body depends on water to survive. Every cell, tissue, and organ in your body needs water to work properly. For example, your body uses water to maintain its temperature, remove waste, and lubricate your joints. Water is needed for overall good health.

Most healthy people can stay well hydrated by drinking water and other fluids whenever they feel thirsty. For some people, fewer than 8 glasses may be enough. Other people may need more than 8 glasses each day. While plain water is best for staying hydrated, other drinks and foods can help, too.

Why do people not want to stay hydrated?

One of the reasons people don’t stay hydrated as they should do is because the benefits are less clear. They think it’s only connected to thirst, which they can handle. In fact, the insides of our bodies need water to be at their best.
