Meeting with the Sales Rep. in the UK before the exhibition official launched, 和英國銷售代表開會

Obviously the food in the Wagamama was not a cup of my tea, I finished all of them reluctantly in order to give old man face, it didn’t mean I enjoy the food there for sure…even though the exhibition was yet to launch, we still have to hold a meeting with our Sales Rep. in the UK to let them know more on our products.

Did I necessary to attend the meeting? I don’t think so because I hardly say any word during the meeting, because our old man is a person who likes to make short story long, yeah, I mean, he wants to spend 30 minutes to tell you a story that suppose can be told in 1 minutes. Under this circumstance do you think I still have to talk to them?

After struggling for couple of hours, the meeting was done, and it was too early to go dinner, old man and me decided to take a look at the book store where also selling some board games and toys. Personally love to read books for sure, but I seldom read the English books to be honest, as I am not a native English speaker, it takes me too long to read a complete book though. I can finish reading a Chinese book in just one day.

Old man asked if I ever tried the fish and chips in the U.K and I said no, then he took me to a bar let me to try the authentic British fish and chips after the visit at the book shop. There’s a notice that saying only Chelsea fans, well, I am not football fans, can I eat inside? Should be ok though. Unfortunately the fish and chips was sold out, I had no choice but to take a cheese burger instead.

I was super disappointed to say that the quality of the burger there was way lower than my expectation, the beef was super tough and dry, and it was over cook, like I was eating a coal rather than meat…ended up I never had good meal at the first day of my visit in the UK…it’s killing me.

好明顯,Wagamama的東西完全不是我那杯茶, 我只是為了老頭的面子, 勉強把碗拉面清完, 但這不代表我覺得好吃囉. 然後, 雖然當天的展覽未開始, 但我們也要先和我們在英國的銷售代表開個會, 等他們熟悉一下我們的產品.

你問我有沒有需要去會? 我覺得沒有囉, 因為全個會議, 就是老頭和他們兩個一直吹啊吹, 畫餅畫啊畫. 我家老頭是一個明明可以把一分鐘就講完的事, 拖長到30分鐘來說. 那麼, 還有我的事嗎?

開了好幾個小時的會, 終於捐定了, 但現在去吃晚飯又太早喔. 那就和老頭去書店看看吧, 那邊剛好也有賣一些桌遊和玩具. 我自個是喜歡看書的人, 但坦白說, 英文書真不怎麼看. 畢竟英文不是我的母語, 看英文書太費時了啦.看中文書的話, 我最快一天就可以看完一本囉.

老頭問我, 有沒有在英國試過他們的炸魚薯條, 我說沒有呢, 然後他就說要帶我去試下. 到酒吧門口, 看到一張通告說, 只招待車路士粉. 哎, 我不看足球的, 那能不能進去吃東西? 應該可以吧. 不過好可惜, 炸魚薯條居然賣完了, 無奈地只能點個芝士漢堡囉

我只能說我對那份漢堡超級失望, 出來的水準完全比我預期的差太多了, 那塊肉又乾, 又紫, 還要煮到像炭似的, 我完全不覺得是在吃肉…我在英國第一天的三餐, 冇啖好食…想死…
