Funny contrast

Yesterday was the last day of my Christmas holiday, I didn’t take my wife out during day time until yesterday, I should take her out at day for sure otherwise she’s going to angry at me haha.

I felt little buzzkill when I heard that she was going to have a meeting with her boss online, I though we couldn’t make it to go out during day time, thank God finally we made it. We went out by 4:30 and arrived Causeway Bay by 5:00 pm yesterday.

The street got more people during the holiday but we expected they were not going to shopping inside the mall at Time Square, well you know, things there are bloody expensive….

Hong Kong people had been suffering too much from the pandemic in the past 3 years, many people lost their job and even if they still got a job, they don’t want to spend too much money on the unnecessary for just in case.

Nearly all the shops were empty during our visit inside the Time Square except the café and dessert shop, we planned to take a cake at Lady M shop somehow there were too many people queuing for the tables, we just wondering how come they would spend HK$ 100 for a piece of cake but not willing to shop for the other items like sport shoes, clothes, etc.

Ended up she gave up on Lady M as we though it’s going to take too long for the table, finally we just took a walk on every single floor in the mall then we left.

We saw a funny contrast, there were so many people in the street but the mall got no people! Why didn’t they go inside as the temperature was not as cold as the street inside? It was funny….
