Good vibes of Chinese New Year? Only available in my old pictures now!

Everyone is preparing for the Chinese New Year holiday, I can see many people got loads of pictures showing how good the vibes are in their home town on their posts. And I can tell, oh yes, vibes are really good out there. Congratulation to the people whom able to go home for the Chinese New Year, wish all of you enjoy your time with your family, and of course, always stay healthy.

This is the 3rd Chinese New Year that I am not able to spend with my wife, I will be stuck in Hong Kong in the next 10 days in my “Holiday” for sure, as the local outbreak in HK is getting worse and worse these days.

Everyone is super worry about the outbreak now, we even have problem to just staying inside our home, as there’s report that many people get infected by the air even they are locking themselves at home.

Who cares the so-called vibes of the Chinese New Year holiday now? Lunar New Year fair is canceled, firework? Probably also canceled, who cares! Parade? Sod off, don’t spread virus further ok !!? There’s only fear around we people in Hong Kong now.

In this circumstance, I can only get some vibes of Chinese New Year in my old pictures now, it was the Lunar New Year Fair in Shenzhen back in 2020, I could still travel between HK and SZ without isolation, I planned not to go for the fair with my wife and my mother and father in law, fortunately I did join them, hell if I know it was my last Lunar New Year with them in short time!!!

There have got many people in the fair, we did take some shots for my mother and father in law, I tried to ask my wife to take a pictures with me as well but she went “no, my dress code is not good”, alright, I simply skip it.

When I have done for the shot for the views in the fair, we started to visit different stalls out there ready to get some plants for Chinese New Year, obviously I made a very bad mistake that I didn’t take some more shots while they were shopping in the stalls!!!!

Anyway, I didn’t know these pictures are the only thing which can heal my homesick today, If I knew that I am going to separate with her that long, I will take 100+ shots everyday when I was still there.

So, here is how am I “celebrating” my Chinese New Year Holiday for this year, maybe it’s dull and boring to the others, but they make me feel that there’s still some vibes in the Chinese New Year holiday…so it’s important for me to have these pictures.
