Stewed pork with rices ia a common Taiwanese dish. But stewed Goose with rices is a rare Taiwanese dish.
Shipai Goose Restaurant was called “Ade Goose Restaurant”. They changed the name to Shipai Goose Restaurant after they had moved from Kaohsiung to Taipei.
It’s a long ride from the south of Taiwan to the north of Taiwan but they kept their reputation as a skillful goose restaurant.
Stewed Goose with rices used great quality of goose chopped to pieces to stew. As all those small pieces of stewed goose put on rices, the goose broth mixed goose oil created a marvelous aroma you’d never tried before. If you ordered the set,all the side dishes benefit from the goose oil that can turned all vegetable into another gourmet level.
Their served great Taiwanese foie gras including their special sauce and garlic slices. That’s definitely a gourmet you could buy in Taipei with USD.1.99 only.
They also served good soup with goose broth with ginger. It’s a good match with stewed Goose with rices.
Another series of dish they served dishes cooked with herbal medicine are famous too. But I recommend you their “Stewed sauced goose parts”. That dish combine all their seasoning works.
