I didn't want to post it at first, but after browsing the video of bento cooking, I suddenly thought mine was very good🤔

To be honest, it is not difficult to make a delicious and beautiful bento, but it is really difficult to balance and preserve it. I used to get up early every day to make the same day lunch, which should be the most nutritious way. The ingredients are fresh and cheap, easy to preserve, and there are many choices that can be made.

For example the bento I've made in the past:

Japanese-style cold bento: scalded cauliflower, scrambled eggs with shrimp, bamboo shoots, no seasoning at all, mainly light and original


Serve with Japanese mayonnaise and ketchup

Cold bento does not need to be heated, and it will not spoil from making in the morning until eating at noon. The key is to wait for the side dishes to cool before putting them in the bento box, and try to avoid soup and water.

The seasoning needs to be heavy, and the taste will be good when eating, because the side dishes will not taste very heavy when they are cooled. Like I didn't want to eat heavy flavors at the time, I chose to add another sauce and eat it like a salad. It is very refreshing and appetizing in summer, it is easy and delicious to make.


But office workers really take too much time , and it is easy to give up halfway . Now in order to be able to implement it , I choose to make bento for a week at a time. At present, the cost is really effectively controlled, and there is no problem with the taste.

It fully complies with my three principles of "no time-consuming", "no effort" and "super money saving" ...

In order to meet the above requirements, I have researched many methods, so my bento can be stored for a week without deterioration, and the taste will not be affected after heating👍

The frozen vegetables purchased this time are of different brands, mainly green, white cauliflower and carrots.

Frozen vegetables greatly reduce the preparation time, which is my lazy step . But of course, if you can, choosing vegetables in season will save money and change more. Mainly to avoid leafy vegetables, it can be stored.


If you want to stir-fry frozen vegetables directly, it will actually affect the flavor. I think it is more appropriate to eat it as a salad, or cook it with curry and white sauce, which is more flavorful and not afraid of stewing.

The former can reduce the number of times the vegetables themselves are repeatedly heated , because the frozen vegetables can be eaten as long as they are directly scalded or microwaved; the latter is that after the vegetables are frozen, they are easy to be cooked by stewing or stewing, and the taste is soft and rotten. .



In the white sauce, in addition to frozen cauliflower, I added organic sweet peas, potatoes, and two small pieces of chicken thighs that my friend hadn't used up last week.

The fried pork belly with cabbage is mainly seasoned with barbecue sauce, so the color will be a little yellowish, but the taste is crisp.

The bento made this time has only two side dishes, matching the amount of a bowl of rice, but the white sauce and potatoes are starchy and satiety, so they can definitely satisfy the appetite 😂

However, this kind of dish is too starchy and doesn't feel very nutritious. It's okay to eat occasionally, so don't cook it too often. It is a dish that is lazy and does not require cooking skills.



The less money you spend on bento, the more fruit you can buy~

Fruits with poor quality and not very sweet taste are suitable for making juice. Making your own juice can satisfy the desire to drink beverages, reduce the chance of buying outside beverages, and save a lot of money. But the juice can't be drunk too often, the sweetness is still amazing! It is best to play with vegetables.

In the photo, this is a portable juicer. I use a guava, 100ml of Yakult, and 200ml of water.


Yakult is not the best way to do it. In fact, it may be better with unsweetened yogurt, unsweetened soy milk and the like. But I just want a drink

Eating fruit is still the most nutritious, and it is more useful than paying attention to nutrition at meals. Because the nutrition of vegetables is actually almost gone in the production process, no matter how much attention is paid, it is just self-comfort...

Eating more fruit is the most effective, provided it is a balanced fruit, not a specific fruit.
