After nearly four months of military training, I'm finally coming back to the world XD
The experience of the past four months is expected to be divided into four articles to share with students who will be soldiers in the future, namely:

 1. Basic introduction (what are you doing in the two stages of being a soldier, sharing of food, clothing, housing, transportation, recreation, etc.) This article 2. Advice on enlistment (what kind of preparations are best to do before enlisting)
3. Story sharing (anecdotes during the four-month military service XD)
4. Retirement experience (feelings of retiring, various experiences)

The Beixun Center is not necessarily the coolest unit, but it must be that each new training unit belongs to one and two people. Although it is still a bad gamble, it is already a happy little luck in this bird thing!

1. Basic information

Enlistment time: 107T (109/04/07 - 109/07/27) (individual discount for 7 days, discharged on 7/20)
Company Affiliated: One Battalion and One Company (Riflemen, 120 Mortars)
Location: Taiping Lane, Yangmei, Taoyuan (about 25 minutes walk to Yangmei Railway Station)
Belonging to the class: Six classes of equipment class, a total of 11 students

2. The first stage of exercise (before the test, a total of five weeks)

This stage is relatively compact in four months, and there are more things to do than just for the "assessment test results", and the monitor will have more requirements to prepare for the exam subjects:

Solo Combat (25%) | Ideally, it's for everyone to understand how to cover each other in a three-person combat situation. But because the assessment is to "pretend" the battle situation, it becomes a course of memorizing a bunch of "single battle words"
Marching and shooting (25%) | The shooting range of the Beixun Center is about 40 minutes, which is quite short. After arriving at the shooting range, it was a whole day of wind and sand, and then I kept shooting at targets (175 meters)
Mechanical training (15%) | Familiar practice with most of the solution (large parts of the gun, disassemble it), gun cleaning process (confirm that there is no foreign body after shooting), and gun inspection process (confirm that the gun has no problem before shooting)
Physical fitness test (15%)｜Sit-ups, push-ups, 3,000-meter freehand running
Subject test (10%) | There are five test papers, and one will be randomly given during the test. In short, I will memorize the answer, because the monitor will not explain why it is wrong or right (the seniors all leave answers on the handwriting board)
Grenade Throwing (5%) | Throwing a fake grenade, more than 25 meters and the direction is correct and qualified, only threw it for two mornings before the whole inspection (I heard from the squad leader that he is very talented, if he won't enter, he won't enter)
Spearing (5%) | Very tiring class, but the proportion of exams is very low. I will spend a little time teaching this in the early stage. It can be imagined as a set of martial arts performances. Anyway, if you make the movements, you will be offended.

 Basically, the first week is the "Adjustment Week", the fifth week is the "Assessment Week", from the second week to the fourth week is to practice various things above, as well as some stand up and rest, mentally answer, and sing military songs. , life habit formation, etc. But in terms of Beixun, the first stage was relatively easy. The first two weeks (before the holiday) did not bring books in. It was really boring and panicked, and it was super collapsed.

Phase 1｜Mobile phones, eating out, cigarettes, camp stations, public telephones, holiday policy

107T is really burning good incense, like the second stage of other units:

Mobile phone | put it on the next night, only two days of useless in the first impression, about 30 minutes each time
Takeout｜Order takeout (chicken steak + rare milk) on the third night, it seems to have ordered 2 times and 3 times in the first stage
Cigarettes｜Do not accept cigarettes and keep them by yourself XD In the early stage, you need the squad leader to bring them. I remember that I will go there by myself after the first week
Camp station, public telephone｜Same as above, go by yourself after the first week
Holidays | The hole eight is the main thing, and there are a few cases of the Yao eight (I let go of the Yao eight because of my good results in target shooting XD)

 However, according to the monitor's message, the follow-up echelon is more difficult QQ

It seems to be the top policy. After the first stage of the mobile phone part, only "four" can be placed, and only "two or four" can be placed in the second stage.

3. The second stage of exercise (after the appraisal)

After the second stage, the daily time is relatively stable, and I am more accustomed to the army's life and specialties training are all guns, and one company is 120 mortars (the guns of each company will be different)

The second stage usually works and rests (summer time, winter time seems to be half an hour late, and naps are less than half an hour)

As 107T just encountered the epidemic, the four companies were split in half and divided into "eat early" and "eat late"
Basically, it is to avoid cluster infection, and it also gives us more space!

 0530 - 0550｜The troops get up (usually get up a little early to fold quilts and mosquito nets)
0550 - 0600｜Meet and roll call (Go to the restaurant for breakfast and exercise first)
0600 - 0630｜Have breakfast (half an hour later)
0630 - 0740｜Free time (usually I'm just reading or looking for something else to eat for breakfast)
0740 - 1100｜A group exercise class (basically, it's gun drills, but there aren't many guns so I spend most of my time reading)
1100 - 1200｜Exercise (stop training), then have lunch 1200 - 1350｜Free time (reading, killing the Three Kingdoms, writing a diary, taking a nap)
1350 - 1530｜Group exercise class (same situation as morning exercise class)
1530 - 1700｜Exercise, exercise time (the second stage of exercise is also free, you can play ball and so on)
1700 - 1800｜Dinner (1700 for breakfast, 1730 for late)
1800 - 1900｜Free time (usually washes, reads books)
1900 - 2100｜If nothing special, it is "mobile phone time"
2100 - 2130｜Free time (you can wash up again, then get ready for bed)

This routine is to allow everyone to have enough time to rest, and there will be no other units in a hurry. You can decide for yourself what to do during the rest time xD You can think about life for a long time

The second stage｜Mobile phone, food, cigarettes, camp station, public phone, holiday policy

Mobile phone｜It is basically used every day, ranging from 1 to 1.5 hours each time (see the monitor on duty)
Take-out | Basically, I order once a week (chicken chops, lo-mei, drinks, etc.)
Tobacco, camp station, public phone｜Free to use
Holidays | After the seventh week, the commander instructed to "follow the principle of "Friday and Eighth", and other honorary leave is superimposed on top of this (the earliest we let go is Thursday and Saturday, and I myself let go once a week. four and six)

4. Food, clothing, housing, transportation and recreation

Food

Three Meals｜Everything is good in Beixun, but the food in the kitchen is really unpalatable (I am basically a person who is not very picky eater and is very supportive), but this place is really unpalatable to the point of collapse, everyone brings their own food (Recently, a lot of flies have dried up)
Vending Machines｜There are four drink vending machines and one cookie vending machine in one building. Here you will see snacks xD drinks that have never been seen before, all of which are mainly Vital series, and may have a contract with the camp (more advanced vending machines are in the next camp, with bread, soy milk, milk and the like)
Unmanned Camping Station｜The camping station in Beixun has not many things, drinks and ice are only available in June, and snacks and biscuits are quite rich (you can pay with banknotes and leisure cards~)
Little Bee｜It will come around 17:00 every day, and many people will eat it as dinner XD In addition to drinks, they will sell hash browns, eggs, chicken drumsticks, karaage chicken drumsticks, scallion pancakes, etc. Every day is different

Clothes

Neat clothes | camouflage uniform + camouflage pants + national army cap + small belt + S-belt water bottle (timing: meal, gathering at night, in short, when you don't need to exercise)
Fully armed | neat clothing + helmet (timing: during the class, the helmet is basically worn)
Sportswear｜It's usually sportswear to eat dinner during exercise time XD

live

Dormitory｜It is divided into small dormitory (12 people) and large dormitory (40 people). During the epidemic, we all slept apart, so the number of people was halved. After the epidemic, everything returned to normal. Take care XD
Toilets and bathrooms｜The overall environment is much more normal than what I imagined at the beginning. You can probably imagine that the achievement is like a swimming pool. As long as the class that sweeps the toilets carefully sweeps it, it will not be too bad~

Row

Leaving the camp (going home)｜It is divided into two types: "leaving a special car" and "leaving on your own". In the first stage, most people leave by special car (price depends on the area), and in the second stage, because the holiday is relatively scattered, it is also necessary to take the train. It's cheaper, even if you leave the camp area, you will take a taxi and transfer to the train back to Taipei.
Returning to the camp (returning to the army) | There are also two types of "returning to the camp by car" and "self-returning to the camp". "Self-return to camp" will return to the camp area before 19:00 on Sunday night, and "return to camp car" is to pick up the car at the designated location before 20:00, so basically everyone takes a special car, and the free air can breathe a little longer

Educational Philosophy｜The whole unit is very humane, and advocates "speaking" and will try its best to communicate with everyone. If there are disputes over the holiday system and the way of teaching, they will accept everyone's discussion to evaluate what can be done better. So don't worry about meeting an unreasonable squad leader, it is more likely to encounter an uncontrolled same ladder
Class system｜Each company is different. For our company (three classes of military management, six classes of equipment, and nine classes of food workers), the others are cleaning classes, manager classes, and tolerance classes. The duty is not so heavy. However, on the other hand, class 369 does not need to stand guard at the beginning, and can also take one more honorary leave every month.

 The way of education is really based on the performance of each session. I am surprised that many of us are still junior college soldiers at this time. Although there are heavenly soldiers, the overall quality is not bad, so the squad leaders basically do not give orders to everyone in a tough way. Before retiring from the army, including my company and the commander's disarming speeches, I collected suggestions from all trainers as the basis for the next troop improvement. I am really serious about improving some bad habits of the troop!

Mobile phone｜Beixunxun number is located on the north side. If you want to use your mobile phone to watch albums or other things that require a lot of traffic, it is recommended to load them up first and then go back to the camp. Games that require good ping values should be forgotten xD
Public telephones | Beixun has a lot of telephones, so you don’t need to queue up, so you can rest assured. In addition, the phone card is really expensive at 6 yuan per minute xD You can check the "ipbb Internet phone card" online and save about half the cost!
Bedroom entertainment｜Our own company is fine as long as it is not a gambling type (poker), so we have seen all kinds of peculiar board games (Wind Sound, Three Kingdoms Kill, Werewolf Kill, etc.), but this part is still before the holiday. The squad leader confirms that the situation is not the same each time~

5. Other daily life

Laundry｜Beixun's laundry contractor has a strange smell after washing, and the price is about 2,500 for four months (too long to forget xD) Anyway, I have to bear with QQ and have to pay by myself
Unified purchases | When I first entered the army, Bei Xun was not like other units that could go directly to the camp to buy it, so I would buy a package of things (500 yuan), which mainly used the foam pads + buttons of the helmet, and others. It’s more convenient to spend money if you don’t want to be maverick xD
Haircut | The troops cut their hair every two weeks, and they all sit on benches outdoors to get the haircut. Before the inspection, they were all shaved, and after the second stage, only both sides were shaved (but they were all shaved very ugly XD)

6. Conclusion

According to the famous saying of the monitor "Self-discipline is freedom"
In fact, for ordinary people in the Beixun Center, life should be very comfortable.

As long as everyone respects each other, queuing up and answering the questions should be done well, the welfare that the squad leader should give will not be less. Anyway, I hope this article can give some comfort to the recruits who are about to enlist in the North Training Center xD
