So close and so far

For people who have always dreamed of retirement, imagining retirement life has almost become a carrot hanging in front of a mule. Because of having a good desire, they are motivated to move forward, and keep moving forward, even if this desire is always so close and so far away.

When you get tired of life, you start imagining your life after retirement.

For example, should I retire alone, or with my partner?

If one person retires first, the other continues to work hard, and the other manages the family affairs, enjoying one person's leisure time, and also not forgetting to create a comfort zone for the other half.

How dreamy it would be if the two of them retire together. I used to go to work every day, go out in a hurry in the morning, and have to take care of the children when I go home. There is no time to get along well. After retirement, the children have grown up and have their own lives, so the two can finally stick together all the time, and happily ever after. live together.

It can be beautiful to imagine, but when the lives of the two are completely the same, will they fall into a situation where the topic is exhausted, there is nothing to say, and you can only stare at me?

If you stare at me with love and affection, of course it is best, but I am afraid that you will be tired of looking at each other. I think your habit is not pleasing to the eye, and you have complained a lot about my behavior, so conflicts are inevitable. The sense of distance dilutes the conflict factor, and once the buffer of distance is lost, it is on the verge of losing control.

Then, create a proper sense of distance and find the joy of life. I may go to learn painting, you may go to the library to read, and then have lunch together with the expectation of a date, and then go to the theater to watch a movie. Even if two people stay at home together, they don’t have to be by each other’s side every second. You watch literary films in the living room, and I follow Korean dramas in the bedroom. When I come across a suspense film that both of them are interested in, they will watch it together and then quiz each other.
