Since I came to Matt City on 228 last year, I have written exactly 100 articles (including this article) here; Respond to each other's messages, exchange and stimulate many precious ideas and ideas. The value that needs the most care is the word " freedom ". Once it is due to various considerations (belonging to a certain group or a certain person), it will deprive the writer of the pleasure of traveling between words.

The most important thing is that the writer must be honest . The so-called honesty is not to deceive yourself, of course not to deceive others.

Come to think of it, why would we want to read an article or a work by an author? It is because of the curiosity of the author himself, because of the author's observation and reflection on a certain issue, because of the development of our knowledge and viewpoints, because the work itself shows a kind of imagination or expectation for an ideal world...

The most valuable thing that an article can really move people's hearts is the writer's self-awareness of being loyal to himself and daring to be honest.

Words, as a language that is closer to the writer's thinking than any other medium, the truth and sincerity in the lines of words are extremely precious, which cannot be replaced by any clever program automation. No matter how advanced AI technology is, there is no way to completely replace human nature.

Based on the above, it is difficult for me to accept that some citizens said:

The nonsense of "strictness" " actually does not affect the operation of Matt City at all ".

If this is the case, the enthusiastic, sincere, and active concerns of some citizens in the past about the articles that were deliberately reproduced elsewhere, the articles that were created by plagiarizing other people's words, and the articles that might touch the copyright with words or music, etc. Makes sense and stupidity, doesn't it?

Even friends who came to Matt City with the banner of " social mining " high, if they view "writing" with such writing value (sorry, I can't even use the word "creation"), and encourage the use of such The value of writing in Matt City will only make people who really want to write choose to leave.

" You have to know what you want to protect before you can tear down that wall ", this is a quote I read recently while reading a manuscript.

What exactly do we want to protect in Matt City? Is it a common writing value, or behind the standpoints carried by each other, those self-identification, group conformity tendencies, or some kind of scheming (sorry, I may be heavy, and it is the purpose of making money bluntly). This is something that citizens who want to stay and write here for a long time and the Matters team must think carefully.

Leaving the socially-oriented Matt City means finding another place to "receive". In the future, I will continue to write, writing reading groups, introducing poems, and writing essays that heal my life.
