I'm on spring break with Little Lemon

Little Lemon's first school year is over, and the first spring break has begun.

Kinnear and I worked hard to adjust our schedules to live in Kamakura as much as possible. During the holidays, according to the arrangement, we took turns going back to Tokyo to deal with our own affairs.

The original idea is always so good: walks on the beach, play in the seaside park, visits to the cafes…

In fact, my life is: mow the lawn, trim branches, cook, buy vegetables, do laundry, buy gardening tools, watch gardening YouTube animations, sprinkle pesticides, get up early to throw out garbage, remove mildew, wax floors...like a housekeeper , Indulge in housework and can't stop at all.

The original plan came to fruition because a friend came to Kamakura.

I mowed the grass for the first time in my life. There is a small lawn in front of the floor-to-ceiling windows facing due south. Because of my neglect last year, the lawn is like the hair of a homeless man. After a day and a half of trimming the shrubs and two trees, it was finally time to mow the lawn.

I also fantasized about mowing the grass with a sickle at first, but that didn't work. A neat inch lawn can only be achieved by a lawn mower. Then place your order for a lawn mower now. Nylon rope, resin knives, metal knives, and various brands and sizes, I opened a door and inside was a world I had absolutely no idea about. Finally, I ordered a hand-held lawn mower like an iron. It arrived the next day, and the lawn was cut short. Yard sorting, which took three days in total, filled eight 40-liter garbage bags.

After mowing the lawn, a worm was dug up when transplanting a hydrangea. It's amazing that the mysterious algorithm pushed me an animation that night, and there were insects during the day, and they said that these insects are very dangerous. After checking it, it turned out to be the larva of the beetle. Gardening youtuber suggests that it is better to kill it with pesticides as soon as possible. For the first time in my life, I sprayed pesticides.

To say when you will dislike the size of your own house, maybe only when you wax the floor. The floor has not been maintained since I moved in, and I was full of enthusiasm for waxing during this holiday.

Before I came to Japan, the place where I lived had always been tile floors, and I was very longing for wooden floors. There is no wax in the content of longing.

Buy floor wax and cleaner from the supermarket, wipe it off with the cleaner first, and then apply the wax with water. It turns out that the texture of floor wax and car wax is so different! Since it hasn't been maintained since I moved in, I applied the floor wax twice, which took a whole day in total. In the end, the floor became very bright and the knees became very sore. I wish it was easy to kneel.

After waxing, the floor feels different from before.

On the weekend, Jin Li went back to Tokyo to watch the show and hold a girls' party. Little Lemon and I were two in the world. Even so, I didn't stop doing housework. It was raining outside, so I couldn't get out, so I was just in time to clean the mildew on the wall covered by the barn door. Japan's cleaning products are highly subdivided. There are corresponding products for every possible cleaning. If you are not careful, you will accumulate a lot of specialized bottles and cans at home.

Speaking of which, I strongly recommend a bathroom mold-proof product "Anti-Kai-Kun" (Anti-Mold-Kun), which can effectively prevent the proliferation of mold in the bathroom after one use.

This morning, when Little Lemon woke up late, I asked, "Let's go to Tokyo?"

Little Lemon shook his head.

"Aren't you going to find Mommy?"

Shaking his head again.

"As long as Daddy compares?"

Nod.

Before leaving, I fertilize the lawn, turn on the wall-mounted CD player, and let the music send us out the door.

The end of Kamakura Spring Break is perfect.
