【Music Creation】This is not a fairy tale

This case finally came to an end. I was appointed as the music designer at the beginning of July. I quickly came up with 21 pieces of music. In between, I had to go on set and rehearse. Because the actors had already rehearsed all the scenes, they had to record almost the entire play so that the music could be recorded. Go in, and then have to sort out the actors' voice performance and singing at the rehearsal venue. The very high-pressure work is finally over.

Actually, my work part ended two weeks ago. However, what followed was a backlash after the body relaxed. The body began to have frequent allergic reactions. Then because I wanted to watch the Olympics, I didn't let the body take a good rest. So to this day, I still suffer from allergies and itching, and my hands and feet feel as if they are crawling and bitten by ants. .

Therefore, the current goal is to "rest and recuperate" and take good care of your body.

This stage play is like a fairy tale, but the fairy tale is rooted in cruel reality, citing the rules of nature and the theory of evolution, and cleverly integrating them into the story. Only when the two are balanced can the world run forever. I thought that the children would not be able to understand the slightly abstract performance, but it turned out that I was overthinking it. The kindergarten-age children were particularly fascinated by it, and their worries were relieved. It wasn't until the last day of the performance that I truly felt like an audience when I entered the venue. The friend who originally invited him to watch the show told him that there was a member of the group who might be his student, but his friend's motorcycle stalled halfway through the show. After he hurriedly repaired the motorcycle, the performance was over, so he didn't have the opportunity to meet the teachers and students. I later verified with this person that my friend was indeed one of her teachers.

Now that the show is over, there's one more thing that can be done, which is to reveal the soundtrack. This piece of music is arranged in the third act of the play. It is a very tonal piece of music. This scene is a puppet show performed by actors, but they have been having a hard time setting the plot clearly, so the arrangement of music is more important. While watching them rehearse, a funny Indian-style scene suddenly appeared in my mind, and I popped I laughed out loud. Later, the director asked me what was going on. I told me the idea in my mind, and the director said, give it a try and see how it works. So, I recorded the voices of the actors as samples, and asked them to shout the names of the two couples in the play as the main melody. Unexpectedly, the effect was really good. It became a highlight of this scene with almost no lines, and attracted the audience's attention. So, listen to this piece of music!
