"Long time no cooking"
After returning to Hong Kong during the working holiday, I have not cooked, and I only washed the dishes when I entered the kitchen.
One of the biggest gains of my one-year trip to New Zealand is that I learned to fill my stomach. Although it is not delicious, at least I can eat it.
The pace of life in Hong Kong is too fast, and time is never enough. When you can take a moment to breathe, you are still scrolling your phone, and you can’t help but sigh that your life is dominated by technology and survival.
Life in New Zealand is very fulfilling every day, perhaps because of the morning shift, I get up early to work and leave work at 4 pm every day.
In New Zealand in summer, the sun doesn't go down until 8:00 pm. The time seems to be doubled. I use it for two days a day. After get off work, I cook lunch and dinner, and I still have time to chat with my roommates and watch movies.
During that period, I seldom touched my phone, and I didn’t post much on IG, because the reality was too fulfilling and I didn’t have time to swipe my phone. This seems to be far from the ground, but when I have enough social interaction in reality, why do I need to satisfy myself through virtual social media? This is the real work life balance.
Like my work? Don't forget to support and clap, let me know that you are with me on the road of creation. Keep this enthusiasm together!
