During the Christmas holiday, an old book friend Min suggested that she would like to travel by bicycle. After understanding her expectations and abilities, she drew up a route to Lok Ma Chau, Luohu, Sheung Shui.
Looking back at the old photos, I went hiking in the vicinity because of the big water pipe, laying the foundation.
Later, after learning about the bicycle rental shop in Sheung Shui, in just two or three years, I followed different teams to discover routes and led different friends to play around.

Longyuan Wetland

The highlight of this trip will start at the junction of bicycles at Sheung Shui Station, along the Shishang River, and watch the Longyuan Wetland from the side.
At the beginning of the 21st century, when the Lok Ma Chau Railway Spur Line was built, it was rare for the railway to move from the ground to the underground due to the environmental assessment report.
In those days, I followed the aborigines of Kwu Tung into the farmland and watched the crops in different fields; there were also fishing ponds and grains specially prepared by the Bird Watching Association for birds.
He once pushed a bicycle through the fields, chatted with her mother-in-law who was farming, and even bought fresh vegetables harvested on the spot .

Sheung Shui Slaughterhouse

All the way forward, you will start to smell the smell and scream , because the Sheung Shui Slaughterhouse is on the other side.
Every time I pass by, I will point it out in particular, I hope everyone can understand why the gentleman wants to cook far away .
It's a pity that it 's still hard to find a sympathetic person .

Luohu border

Walking along the Wutong River, opposite is the famous Shaling Cemetery in the past two years.
Previously, I only knew that during the worship season, Luohu Station would be open to non-transit passengers to worship, and unclaimed corpses were also placed on Shaling.

On the other side of the Wutong River is the Luohu Railway Station, a pass I have used most since I was a child.
The restricted area is just in front of a small bridge on the embankment here, Shenzhen Luohu, which is close at hand.
The drastic changes in recent years make it hard for me to figure out what year and month will I set foot on the other side .

Pok Village

One round of hard uphill, another round of sprint downhill, to the border fishing pond wilderness.
I love to park here and let my friends feel this quiet place .
Take photos of the village of Liubo, which is surrounded by mountains and rivers, and tell the local stories of the surrounding area.
In the neighboring Xinyi New Village, the people used to live and farm between the two places. Because the customs were closed overnight, they ate and slept in the dew. Fortunately, the church helped to build the village to be able to live in peace.

Ma Cao Lung

Duode Kwu Tung aboriginal people led me to know Ma Cao Lung.
The Maijingtao Police Post on Macaolong has a panoramic view of the border fishing pond , and it is also a picnic spot that used to be crazy.

Considering Min 's physical strength, we only stopped at the newly opened restaurant.
In addition to eating, there are grasslands for people to camp and fishing ponds for recreational fishing.
In this wave of epidemics, many villages have developed the business of leisure farms. Whether it is a blessing or a curse, it depends on the luck of the local people .

Lok Ma Chau

The Lok Ma Chau Port and the Lok Ma Chau village are far apart , which is also the subject of my favorite stories.
The lotus farm near it, before the epidemic, would see warning signs to be careful of cats crossing the road, but now they are gone.
Step along Lok Ma Chau Road to the public transport interchange. With the gate closed, people and vehicles are rare and leisurely .

For the first time, I took this super bike trail and leaned on the Castle Peak Road. It was definitely not my thing.
Now that Bo Lou Road has been moved to the ground , a building has been quietly pulled up, and the entire Kwu Tung area will be torn down and rebuilt, and nothing will grow.
After taking a quick photo at the vegetable station, I turned into the Shuangyu River and headed for Heshang Township.

Heshang Township

At UNRWA, the intersection was also flooded.
As the base of the Hou clan of the five major clans in the New Territories, it was originally planned to take Min to visit the historic site of the Hou Gong Temple in Jushi.
It is a pity that the Hung Shing Ancient Temple, which houses cultural relics, has been closed for maintenance.
Instead, I accidentally chatted with two local organic farmers at a stall outside a seasoning sales office, and bought local sweet potatoes and meat ginger as souvenirs.

Hongtao Bean Products Factory

After passing through the mourning Luo Wu Correctional Institution, you will reach the bean factory once famous for all-you-can-eat bean curd and soy milk.
As this place is no longer just a gas station on the road, the scenes of willful soy milk and bean curd or even eating three or four bowls are gone.
The only thing is that there is still a cat shopkeeper here to entertain me, a cat slave .

big stone mill

Ten years ago, I once walked along the dilapidated military road to the watchtower of the big stone mill, and for the first time looked at the scenery of the fishing ponds on the border .
Later, I tried to ride a bicycle to challenge, but unfortunately I was unable to do so, so this time I will not overcome this difficulty .

When I first set foot there ten years ago, my friends and I turned this place into a playground, climbing and jumping as we went .
Later, everyone noticed that the government spends billions of public funds every year to buy expensive and low-quality Dongjiang water, and if it is not used up, it will be dumped into the ocean . Therefore, the project of Umbrella Falls 18th District chose this place as one of the filming locations.

Today's world has changed, coupled with the fatigue of epidemic prevention, so this place has become a hot spot for check-in, and tourists are everywhere.
The relevant authorities have also sealed off some places, and the places where you can play are not what they used to be.
Time did not allow us to continue along the Wutong River to Fanling Longyuetou, so we went home.
