About my little quirk
Growing up, I had a little quirk. Although this little quirk is not too serious, it does bring a little trouble to my life. Friends around me know about this quirk about me, and every time I meet someone new, I go to the trouble of telling new people about it over and over again. Do you guys want to know what it is?
I hope it won't shock you too much, even though it's not really a big deal, but for some reason they always look surprised every time I tell people about it. My quirk is to avoid chocolate and coffee, and yes all flavors related.
Many people will be surprised because chocolate and coffee are very popular flavors that almost everyone likes and are the most common flavors in all kinds of food and beverages. So this is also a little trouble in my life that I mentioned at the beginning, that is, I have too little choice in ordinary aspects. What black forest cake, tiramisu, hot cocoa drink, latte, etc. are all I have not tried.
My quirk started when I was in elementary school. I have a kind of psychological barrier to the two. After eating it, I immediately feel chest tightness, nausea and vomiting (and I really have nausea and vomiting), and I need to drink a lot of it. It can be slightly better if it is covered with water or other tastes; the rich coffee aroma in other people's mouths is a taste that makes me dizzy and chest tight and needs to hold my breath.
Despite these little troubles, I've gotten used to coexisting with them over the years and feel that it's become something unique to me. I am also very grateful to the family and friends around me who always accommodate my tastes and let me feel that they care about me. In the future, I still won't want to quit this so-called quirk, I think it's pretty good, don't eat it if you don't like it~
Like my work? Don't forget to support and clap, let me know that you are with me on the road of creation. Keep this enthusiasm together!
