"Gestalt Girl | Amoeba"

ゲシュタルトotome was established in January 2016. The first time I heard their music was "Eeyo" in their last album, and it was actually in a convenience store near my home recently, with a lively rhythm and a super nice guitar riff Immediately grabbed my ears and searched for their songs, fell in love with their rich arrangements, endless repetitions of their music. When I checked their information more deeply, I found out that they are Taiwanese!

This kind of "Taiwan-made Japanese rock band" is the first time I have come into contact with. I think they can be so grounded that people can't feel that they are not Japanese. ANIMALS AS LEADERS | Parrhesia

Animals as leaders is a pure instrumental band. The style of music is avant-garde metal and Djent. You may have rarely seen the word Djent. Its origin is actually a slang-like word that simulates a lot of electric guitar distortion in English. , which was slowly defined as a genre or a genre of music in the 2010s (if you check Wikipedia, the references it uses are all from 2011 onwards), the music of this genre basically challenges To the limit of the tempo, musicians often pursue very difficult rhythms, the songs are filled with a lot of confusing syncopation, and everyone must be in the same time. This results in the usual Djent style. The song is difficult for most people to accept, and even the distorted tone of the guitar with the inexplicable syncopation is really hard to listen to.

I came into contact with Animals as leaders for the first time in about 2014~2015. Their music is full of experimental nature, and various complex rhythms and syncopations deeply attracted me. Through their songs, I suddenly figured out the world Songs should not only be written in 4-loop or 6-loop beats, one measure 11 loops a measure 13 loops, and this inexplicable beat can also be written into a song. I heard some more complicated beats in their songs. I can't decipher it... But because hearing their songs made me redefine the idea of music, and also began to develop more fun and interesting music such as progressive metal and math rock, it is a band that has greatly influenced my listening to music.

Their new album "Parrhesia" will be released on March 25th, 2022. I highly recommend everyone to try it out. After a few songs, you will probably understand why I use the adjective "puzzling" to describe them. Well, very interesting.

"STEREO Balanced Signal"

Balance Signal is also a pure instrumental post-rock band. I first heard their album "Old Tree" released last year and thought it was very good before I listened to all their songs, but I only found their older ones on YouTube. That album, I had to put the old one up for everyone to listen to, but I still recommend the new album. If you want to listen to the new album, you can buy physical records to support them, or listen to some music streaming platforms.

Their music is very relaxing and sounds very relaxing. They are equipped with an acoustic guitar, an electric guitar and a rhythm instrument. In the new album, they can be heard trying to combine their music with some natural white. The noise and the sounds of some animals, combined with their notes, make people feel inexplicable tranquility. I think if you are going to read or do business, maybe you can try to use their songs as background music, it should be pretty cool Not bad.

Although I like their works very much, but for those who like to listen to heavy bass, I will feel that if Bass is added, the richness of the music will be more exciting.

"Black Unicorn"

Heiqi is a metal band from China, but their information is super hard to find... The first time I heard their music, I was amazed. The cultural impact of combining black metal with traditional Chinese musical instruments is impressive. Folk metal has always been One of my favorite styles of music, it is a very interesting band to listen to it as if you are in the flowing water of Chinese culture.

Heiqi added a lot of musical instruments with Chinese elements to their songs. In addition to several kinds of roaring vocals, the lead singer, coupled with the occasional male voice recitation, will bring people into the dynasty they want to lead, and I think the most distinctive The only thing is that the songs will also be interspersed with Huadans similar to those in Peking Opera (I don’t know if Peking Opera is wrong and welcome to correct me), which makes the songs rich and interesting. The overall arrangement of the songs is very attractive. It's boring, but well worth listening to.
