This is a day to complain~

Today is another day where the conversation we planned to have and the actual conversation were different~

I was originally going to write about yesterday's news that reminded me of the people who demolished the building, but... As soon as I came in, I saw Wei Lan's message:

Then it came to Lenovo~

Just like that, I suddenly remembered the indulgences that were popular in the past. However, even the so-called amnesty concept, which is the concept of substitutionary atonement left over from the past, can only temporarily exempt people from punishment, but cannot truly forgive sins.
I personally agree with this concept, because there are indeed creditors who are willing to accept compensation and then write off the debt in one fell swoop. The question is, what if the creditor insists on repaying the debt with blood?

This is not what Xiaolu wants to talk about today, but because the indulgence thing reminds me of another item that is produced in response to the needs of the human heart: paper money.

In fact, in history, it has been a habit to burn things for the deceased a long time ago. Some things that cannot be burned are buried with the deceased. You should be familiar with this, right?
For example, in the Shang Dynasty, there was a custom of burying servants and livestock together with the deceased. Those who were rich would put jade and Gui, and those who had no money would also put some shell coins.

People~ always feel that whatever they think, the gods in the underworld will also have their hobbies.
I'm very suspicious... It's because people think they love money and can't do anything without money. That's why they think that the deceased needs money to clear the way to the underworld...

In short, paper money has taken root and thrived in life~

This was taken by a friend's family when they went to Chushuikeng Trail a while ago.

Yes, what Xiaolu wants to talk to you today is the legend of paper money~
First of all, let me explain that this is 100% fake ... It is absolutely fake , and it is guaranteed to be based on the truth !
Why do I say this?
Let’s use the legend of the moon as an example. Do you think the moon came first, or did stories related to the moon appear first?
One hundred percent, the moon came first!
When people see the moon, they will want to explain why the moon waxes and wanes, why there are shadows on the moon, and why sometimes the moon completely disappears. People use their own life experience to explain natural phenomena. From then on, the moon has Chang'e, the Jade Rabbit and the Moon. Wu Gang.

Of course, I do not rule out the possibility that these legends are true.

But the origin of the spread of paper money guarantees that this cannot be the case, at least not all of them!

Next, let us enjoy the story of paper money~

Everyone should know who invented "paper", right?
Yes~ It’s Cai Lun~
Cai Lun was a eunuch in the Eastern Han Dynasty. Don’t underestimate him. He studied hard and increased his skills from a small Huangmen. He worked hard to serve in the middle. He still has real talents and learning, is loyal and willing to tell the truth to the emperor~

The important point is that he also has the talent of a craftsman. In addition to improving papermaking, he also designs crossbows and swords. He is a talented person who needs to be capable and able to take care of the emperor.
It's a pity... When Cai Lun was a little Huangmen, he had to make a living under the biggest person in the palace, so he committed perjury... which meant that the Queen Mother wanted him to come forward to frame the Crown Prince. As a result... at that time Yes, the crown prince was deposed. The question is... the crown prince has a son. The son of the crown prince later became the emperor. Cai Lun, who was the accuser... will there be a good end?
Of course....impossible!
So in the end, Cai Lun took a cleansing bath, got dressed, and committed suicide by taking poison.

This is too far off topic. In short, we only need to be clear about one thing, that is... Cai Lun is a eunuch! It's a eunuch! It's a eunuch! It’s like going to the palace to be a eunuch when you were a child!
Now that we have this factual basis, we can look at the story~

During the Eastern Han Dynasty, after Cai Lun invented paper, people did not know what paper could be used for, so paper was unsaleable and piled up in their homes.
After thinking hard, You Xiucai, a disciple of Cai Lun, came up with a trick!
Which move? Pretend to be dead to cheat money.

You Xiucai first pretended to be ill and passed away, and then lay down in the coffin. His wife went to inform relatives, friends and neighbors that her husband You Xiucai died of illness QQ...

When everyone came to mourn and help, they saw You Xiucai's wife burning in the basin in front of the coffin; paper money cut into the shape of copper coins (some said it was a rectangular paper with silver foil), everyone asked her about this What are you doing?
You Xiucai's wife said: "This is paper money. It is the currency of the underworld. As long as enough is burned, the deceased can use it to bribe the underworld soldiers and return to life."

After seven days and seven nights of burning (some say after the burning, but it definitely burned a lot), You Xiucai crawled out of the coffin alive! Under such witness, the paper immediately sold well, and I no longer had to worry about not being able to sell it!

The fog is really heavy

So why would the deer take offense to this piece of folklore?

Because..., there are many versions of this story. In some versions, the person lying in the coffin is not the so-called disciple You Xiucai of Cai Lun, but Cai Lun himself...

It is said that Cai Lun is a eunuch... Isn't it too strange for a eunuch to have a wife...
Even if it is You Xiucai, a disciple of Cai Lun, this is the Eastern Han Dynasty... Who was the first emperor of the Eastern Han Dynasty?
Liu Xiu, Emperor Guangwu of Han Dynasty!
Liu "shows"!
It's impossible for the emperor to call Liu "Xiu" and there would still be "Xiu" talents under him! All the Xiu Cai Ke in the Eastern Han Dynasty were changed to Mao Cai Ke.

But let’s put aside the rural anecdotes... Let’s put ourselves in the mood of King Yama... There is a group of people who burn a bunch of counterfeit coins all day long without the consent of the underworld. After burning, people After he actually came to the underworld, he claimed that he had burned money to get it down, and asked why he had not received it...

I always feel that the King of Hell will be angry...

That’s it for today’s chat. Let’s continue the chat tomorrow. I’m going to do my work first, and we’ll chat tomorrow (waving hands).
