Football Highlights2020-09-29 09:05

Fulham director of football Tony Callhan has publicly apologised to fans for his team's poor performance after the 3-0 defeat to Villa and promised to bring in players before the end of the transfer window.

Tony Cahan tweeted: "I apologize to the Fulham fans for our performance today. After the promotion play-offs, we were committed to bringing in the backbone, but I'm sorry we didn't succeed because two of them One target got the coronavirus, one free agent we were close to completing the transfer but ultimately failed, and one target didn’t come because of some issues.”

"I assure the fans that we will bring in reinforcements and I assure the fans that the existing players will work harder."

"I should apologize many times now and in the future for the team's performance today. I'm sorry, every friend who pays attention and supports Fulham, everyone in the club needs to do better. In the past year, every member of the club has One person works hard to make the team better and now we need to work even harder to get the team a step further and I promise we will give more in the future."
