Q Bo is not doing business with a small diary-Day 53
"There is no road in vain"
"There is no road in vain" has been in my heart today.
Last Thursday, he was temporarily tasked by the chairman, asking Shero to form a task force to complete the drafting of the plan to apply to the government within two months.
Although I am a medical professional, I really have no concept of helping companies write plans! In particular, the content of the plan should include "company system" and "market analysis", etc., I am really blank!
The task Shero gave me is to master the medical-related professional knowledge in the project, and after other colleagues in the company have completed the first draft, I can have a concept, know whether the logic is smooth, the knowledge of the project content is correct, and the requirements for the project application are met. .
The professional knowledge I have been exposed to in the past is mainly "wet lab", which is what everyone understands. Wearing a lab coat, holding a microsyringe, a test tube, culturing cells or dissecting mice...etc. content.
However, the plan to be written this time is related to image analysis, such as clinical ultrasounds, X-rays, etc., and it is necessary to understand how to analyze these "images" and think about future applicability.
This kind of experimental content that belongs to "dry", I really have no concept! At most, the mouse was injected with cancer cells that showed cold light. After a period of growth, the mouse was taken to the cold light display device to take pictures, and then analyzed according to the obtained data...
However, just after the supervisor asked me to understand the content direction of our plan, the voice of "Ah! So it is!" suddenly appeared in my heart!
When I was a doctoral student, I wanted to study "Introduction to Imaging" for one semester for some unknown reason, and I took this subject as an elective subject for my doctoral qualification exam! But this is very strange in the eyes of others! Because usually the subjects I choose are related to my research field, but my research and image analysis are basically not directly related at all!
I couldn't say why I chose this way at the time. I always felt that this kind of learning was very good👍
So when I was asked to see professional knowledge related to imaging studies today, I didn't panic, but felt a little joy in my heart! There is even a feeling of "I would have done that, just for today"~
In the past, when it was very hard to study for a doctorate, I often asked myself what it was for 🤔 Many elders also often said to me: "Believe in yourself! There is no such thing as a waste in life!"
I think when they said that to me, they must have experienced the situation I have today.
