Central Market is a modern and streamlined market in Hong Kong. Completed in 1939, it is located at 93 Queen's Road Central and 80 Des Voeux Road Central, Central, Hong Kong Island. The current market is a fourth-generation market and a third-generation Central market building. It is of the same style as the old Wanchai market built in the same period. It is one of the few indoor markets built before the war in Hong Kong.

The market was designed and constructed by the Secretary for Public Works . In the 1980s, it was transformed into a part of the Central to Mid-levels escalator system . In 1990, it was proposed to be a Grade 3 historic building (but the rating was not determined until March 10, 2022), but it was once included in the checklist after it ceased operation in 2003, and was later removed by the government. out and handed over to the Urban Renewal Authority for revitalization. After Chinachem Group obtained the operating rights, the market will reopen to the public in 2021.
