The fundraising amount is 10 million Hong Kong dollars, and it is all or nothing - if it does not reach 10 million, the original case will be cancelled and a full refund will be made. This should be the first time in the Hong Kong film industry.

The public raising money to make a movie is quite new in Hong Kong , but it may be the only direction "Kian" can try. If new directors want to start filming in Hong Kong , unless they get foreign or Chinese capital to become a "co-production", most of them can only rely on the Hong Kong government's "Film Development Fund", which is only a few million dollars, and the application is by no means a non-starter.
