If women are dirty, all men are dirty products
Many years ago, when Qian Zhongshu's "Fortress Besieged" was made into a TV series, there is one detail in the play that I can never forget: Sun Roujia, one of the heroines, took a long-distance bus to work at Sanlu University with a few men. It was crowded and because there were no seats, Sun Roujia sat on a sack filled with grain by a farmer, only to be cursed by the farmer because he thought women were dirty and should not sit on the grain used for food.
I still remember being very angry when I saw this place. I was still young, and I have felt the pervasive and meticulous discrimination against women in this patriarchal society many times.
A few years ago, I met a Tibetan Lama master, and I liked chatting with him very much. Master Lama has not received much formal school education, but Tibetan Buddhism has a tradition of debating scriptures, so Master's logical thinking ability is very strong, and I often discuss and even argue with him on some issues. On several occasions, I, my self-confident and articulate, were refuted by Master's impeccable logic, and I had to laugh and admit that he was right.
One day, I went to chat with him again. I don't remember what we were talking about at the beginning, and suddenly he said something: "You girls are dirty because they bleed every month."
I wasn't particularly shocked to hear him say this. The Tibetans are also patriarchal, and I've found out before that they actually discriminate against women just like the Han Chinese. But on this topic of women's bloodshed and "dirty", I feel compelled to argue with him.
First of all, I told him that women bleed every month because women produce an egg cell every month. If the egg cell is not fertilized, the things that were originally used to wrap and protect the fertilized egg must be excreted. In fact, it's almost like a hen laying an egg. Do you feel that the eggs from the hen's butt are dirty and refuse to eat them? Eggs are sometimes stained with chicken manure. It's just that hens can lay eggs every day, while women only lay one egg per month, and that egg has no shell.
Master has never studied physiology and doesn't understand how women get menstruation. Hearing me take an egg as an example, I understand it all at once.
Then, I said: Women and men have blood in their bodies. If you think women are dirty because they bleed, is it also dirty for men who bleed after being injured? Then do you also discriminate against men who have been injured and bleed?
The master smiled and stopped talking.
So I chased after the victory: If you think women are dirty, then the children born from women's wombs, including boys, are also dirty? Boys are still dirty when they grow up and become men? Do you think your own child born as a mother is dirty?
By this time, Master had nothing to say, and we both burst out laughing.
I don't know if my debate can dispel Master Lama's discrimination against women, but at least Master did not argue after hearing what I said. He is a reasonable person.
A few days ago, a woman from Foshan, Guangdong, boarded a local dragon boat, and was threatened by the owner of the dragon boat. She was also attacked by many locals, who scolded her and said, "You are dirty, you can't ride on the dragon boat."
I'm guessing that the (male) people who say this are born out of some "dirty" woman, and maybe crawled out of a vagina that sheds "dirty" menstrual blood every month of.
If they think women are dirty, then they should consciously get rid of the "dirty" they were born with from their mother's womb.
I suggest that they learn how to cut the flesh and return the mother to the mother, and remove all the flesh from their bodies, leaving only the pure yang and pure bones.
It's funny to me to think that more than half of the population of this country will exist as skeletons.
Sarasati's "Dance of the Skeletons" is for those Chinese men who are born from the "dirty" bodies of women but do not feel that they are dirty.
Hopefully next Dragon Boat Festival we can see a group of skeletons racing dragon boats.
I will not point out the fact that Qu Yuan is a gay man to strike at their fragile, cowardly, poor little heart.
