Movie Notes【The Matrix Resurrections】
"The Matrix Resurrections" is the fourth episode in the 1999 classic sci-fi film "The Matrix" series, following the trilogy "The Matrix", "The Matrix: After The Matrix: Reloaded and The Matrix: Revolutions. Directed by the original series director Lana Wachowski, it brings together the original cast of Keanu Reeves and Carrie Anne Moss to reprise their respective roles "Neo" and "Trinity".
The fourth episode uses a new setting to connect the first three episodes. The play is full of memories and explanations from the past. Although it can be regarded as a tribute and self-deprecating picture, the relevant content is a bit lengthy and lacks the sense of surprise in the past. It is only an explanation. After all, the reason why Hacker Quest has become a classic is because the plot and huge world view structure are at the forefront of the times. Of course, I have to sigh at Keanu Reeve's melancholy, charming and handsome when he was young. Now it seems that it is not similar to the "metaverse". concept.
The director once said that the theme of "The Matrix: Resurrection" is actually love, so the focus is on the 20-year-old love story of Neo and Trinity, so the first few episodes were sci-fi movies, and this episode is based on sci-fi movies. "Love Movie".
After watching this episode, I just want to say that no matter what the blue pill or the red pill is, give me one, no matter what the reality is, at least I have "a chance to choose".
