813 is International Left-Handed Day, so I will share with you today that Miracle is left-handed and writes with his left hand! What is the daily life of the left and right bow? Writing, calligraphy, holding knives, using computers...there are so many things you will encounter!
The puddle after the rain, the mirror shoots the upside-down world.

I just came across 813, which is the International Left-Handed Day, so I will share with you today. In fact, Miracle is also left-handed and writes with his left hand!

In fact, left-handed and right-handed people are both human beings, and there is no difference between the two. As if I didn't say anything about it, you who are looking at the article in front of the screen may not even notice which hand the person who wrote the article is using, right?

I usually hear people compliment me that my handwriting is very beautiful. It is one of the few things that I will directly nod and say, "Thank you, I feel the same way." But why is there such a reaction? Let me tell you a few stories about what happens to lefties.

Is it ugly to write with the left hand?

When I was a child, I used my left hand to hold a pen.

It is said that my father used to hold a pen with his left hand at first, but in the past, he believed that he must use his right hand to write and not his left hand, so he was forced to write with his right hand, using a puncher and binding his left hand. Don't let the left hand hold the pen and so on (everyone should have heard a similar story), and eventually, he also became a person who writes with the right hand.

But the balance will actually be poor, so his writing road is bumpy and difficult.

Then when I was in kindergarten, I also started to hold a pen in my left hand.

When the kindergarten teacher asked my parents if they wanted to make adjustments, my parents happily said, "Let it be!" So I held the pen with my left hand from start to finish.

When I was in elementary school, I had to write a workbook after the Mandarin class. Usually, I wrote some words and phrases for that class. One of our grade tutors happened to be a Mandarin teacher, and he attached great importance to everyone's Mandarin. Once on the podium, he took our study book and scolded left-handed students: "You can't even write hyphenation!", "How dare you hand it in so ugly!" The word pointed hard. I still remember that look, as if I had a deep hatred with my left-handed classmates. (It is very far away and no one will see who the exercise book is, but everyone may have seen the teacher clearly)

Hey, I've been learning to write for so long. This is the first time I met a teacher who scolded people like this. It's okay to be ugly. What's the matter with left-handed people?

Being left-handed, I didn't want to be seated myself, but I was still pissed. After that time, I felt obsessive-compulsive when I wrote the exercise book. If I felt that the words were ugly, I erased and rewritten them. The teacher of the parenting class was erasing the words and asking the children to rewrite them. Next to me, he said, "It's already very beautiful, don't wipe it anymore!" The paper in the notebook was about to be scratched, so I reluctantly gave up and continued to rewrite the great cause. (Looking back on it now, I think this kid is too scary)

In short, this beam is forged, and from now on, I want to work harder to write the words well. When I first started to practice writing on blank paper without auxiliary lines, I used a ruler to align the boundaries of the paper, and slowly wrote word by word, even the spacing, width and height of each word should be consistent, and the degree of tortoise hair was solid. Amazing! (My family said so after knowing it hahaha) (But I think this exercise is useful, and now writing on blank paper will also maintain a certain neatness, because there will be invisible reference lines under my pen to align)

What left-handed handwriting is not good-looking, I will write it for you!

(The temper is not an ordinary cow at all, hahaha)

"Upside Down the World" about Lefties

In the early days of learning to write, left-handed people can easily write characters upside down . Because you need to flip the steps explained by the teacher into the left-handed order in your head first, such as numbers, national characters, English letters, etc., all of them may be written upside down. Therefore, if the child is left-handed, parents sometimes do not know how to teach the problem of writing .

In fact, if possible, I personally think that it will be easier to understand if the strokes of each character are disassembled to demonstrate . The steps are disassembled on the paper, one stroke at a time, and let the children watch the demonstration and practice it will help the understanding faster. Write at the beginning. The writing speed will be relatively slow, but after getting used to such dismantling steps, left-handed people will construct their own writing system in their brains, which will be very helpful for the learning of Chinese characters in the future. (This is how I learned to write by disassembling the diagrams in steps. Remembering the stroke order of the characters will also be helpful for the writing calligraphy to be introduced below!)

This is a handwritten essay topic for my novels course in college. Now the characters are almost as long. No wonder they used to say that writing is "climbing a grid"! (Does the manuscript paper really have a grid?)

Do you have to use your right hand to write calligraphy?

Then, I encountered another problem.

The time is the same as the primary school stage. Because of the morning light, the teacher invited a calligraphy teacher from outside to teach everyone how to write calligraphy.

Wow, the first sentence of the teacher's mouth is to ask us to use our right hand to hold the brush . too difficult! Right hand, I can't even hold a pencil in my right hand, and I even told us to hold a writing brush.

I asked the teacher, he said that it is your business, anyway, the brush can only be held with the right hand, and then began to teach everyone to write calligraphy.

Damn, people who write with the right hand are known to start gestures with fire, and those who write with the left hand are still struggling to hold the pen properly, and it is normal to have a progress gap.

This was my first impression of super bad calligraphy at first.

Then I went to university. I was a Chinese-related major. Of course, the calligraphy class was included in one of the freshman courses , and I began to get used to holding a brush with my right hand.

But before that, my family went outside to learn calligraphy, so I watched and learned a little bit, so I didn't feel that difficult.

Moreover, when you are in higher vocational school, you need to practice hand-painted standard characters, POP and other fonts because of professional subjects. The characters look good or not. This has nothing to do with you holding a pen with your left hand and right hand, but you practice it yourself. times are related. As long as you work hard, you will get results. This kind of hard work has to be practiced by yourself, and you can't blame anyone.

So when I was a freshman, I wrote calligraphy every day . When time is not enough, write for 1-2 hours, and when time is sufficient, write for 5-6 hours. Although it is only two credits, the idea of "wanting to practice Chinese characters well" occupies my mind. Since the right hand is weak, then use time To make up for it, my writing practice hours are almost the most in the whole class. The class asked the teacher to help buy a pack of 100 pieces of calligraphy paper, and just practicing the word "one" takes almost half of the calligraphy paper. I had to go and buy another pack from the teacher, or I would finish writing it soon. (Later, I bought three more packs of paper, and the teacher looked at me eagerly and almost didn't catch me to the calligraphy club hahaha)

Don't get me wrong, I didn't participate in any calligraphy competitions, I just wanted to write well. Writing calligraphy can make people calm down. To be honest, the time when I practiced calligraphy every day is really a great memory, although it only lasted for more than three months (just one semester, hahaha).

Oh, and the teacher told me later that although she doesn't know how, she knows a calligrapher who writes calligraphy with her left hand, because the other person is also left-handed.

I will say it! Is there any reason why you can only write with your right hand? So I also practiced writing with a brush with my left hand.

So my calligraphy can be written with both the left hand and the right hand . When the right hand is tired, switch to the left hand, and when the left hand is tired, switch to the right hand. There is no problem in writing alternately. It is very convenient!

There's nothing right-handed can do that left-handed can't, if you want to, you can do it. Maybe there will be some obstacles at the beginning, but the obstacles are waiting for people to overcome . You read straight books from right to left, right-handed people have to hang their wrists so that they won't touch the characters, and left-handed people won't touch them. Murray! (Just kidding, you still have to practice balance!)

But unfortunately, I didn't leave a photo of me writing calligraphy at that time, because I only had a smartphone when I went to college. Before that, there was only a NOKIA for communication, and I would not use it for other things. Therefore, I don't know how to use my smartphone when I get it, and I don't even turn it on very often. When people look for me, I often can't find anyone! (Writing here only to realize that it's only been a few years and I use my smartphone every day?! The internet is horrible)

In 2018, when I visited the Nongchan Temple in Dharma Drum Mountain, the internal exhibition, Master's calligraphy made people feel good when they read it.

The direction of holding the knife is different

Now that we talk about the common problem of using the left hand, let me say something about "holding a knife" by the way.

First of all, stationery items such as utility knives and scissors must be brought by yourself, because the direction you use the blade will be different from others.

Every time I borrow a utility knife from others, it is not very comfortable. If you are left-handed, you must change the direction of the utility knife blade before using it. Otherwise, the distance of cutting the paper can easily be wrong. In the early days, the blades of some utility knives could only be fixed on one side, but now most of them can be interchanged.

And now scissors like to write "ergonomically", it is best to read the label clearly. If you don't write too much, it will usually default to the ergonomics of right-handed people, because if it is suitable for left-handed people, it will definitely be written on it. After all, left-handers are still in the minority. If you haven't seen it, then you'd rather buy the most spring-like scissors with the same length on both sides.

Ah, if you have grown up and realized that there are items that conform to the ergonomics of the left hand, it is not recommended to use them rashly. Do you know why? Because you have been silently adapting to all the right-handed products in your life since you were a child, and then you directly replace everything with left-handed devices. Design" scissors, and then...then I broke the paper...because that sense of distance was totally different! It is the same as changing the direction of the blade of a utility knife. These are all habits that need to be re-established. Now left-handed children are very happy. There are many stationery designed for left-handed people to choose from. Stationery is the best.

Left-handed learning is often like this: first look at other people's practices → change direction in your mind → try to do it yourself with your left hand → find mistakes and then correct them.

So be careful when learning to cut vegetables, because many teachers are demonstrating with a knife in their right hand. Sometimes the wrong angle is converted , and it is easy to get a kitchen knife, so pay special attention! (Learning to write can actually make mistakes, but I think knives are more dangerous, and you must be very careful when using them!)

My scissors and utility knife friends. The direction of this pendulum is the direction I picked it up with my left hand.

The main melody of the piano is in the right hand

As we all know, most of the time when playing the piano, the right hand is the main melody, and the left hand is the sub-melody.

Then I am left-handed, my left hand is very developed, my right hand is very weak, especially my little finger is the most weak.

So when I first started playing the piano, my left hand would make a clunking sound, and then the sound of my right hand was so weak that it was often overshadowed by my left hand. Because of this problem, I was adjusted by the teacher for a long time. Later, I could barely keep the voice of both hands stable.

The violin is a different problem, because the violin uses the left hand to press the strings and the right hand to hold the bow, so the right hand must hold the bow firmly and not shake it, but I have no problem with the left hand. Right-handers have a different problem. But I think that having learned a musical instrument is actually very helpful for the coordination of the left and right hands , because you have to use both hands at the same time. The response is really fast!

When I went to a small shop before, I heard Ban Niang say that they would come to a few songs sometimes after get off work!

Use a computer mouse

When I was a student, the mouse in the computer classroom was always on the right, right?

This is actually a bit of a nuisance for me, who just started learning how to use computers. Because the speed and action of my right hand keys are slower than others! Doing any work will also be very slow, but some classwork has to be handed in after class. I really hated computer class at first.

Later, I moved the mouse to the left hand operation, and the speed was finally a little faster. I used the ring finger of my left hand to press the left button and the index finger to press the right button, and the teacher was dumbfounded, ah, I can't help it, who said that the mouse was designed like this? It wasn't until very later that I learned that I could go to the console to adjust the settings, and I changed the left index finger to press the left button and the ring finger to press the right button. In short, the direction of the right-handed person was reversed, which barely solved the problem.

But now I still use my right hand to press the mouse. When my right hand is tired, I switch to my left hand, and the two sides are alternated. Occasionally take a break, which is actually quite convenient. Moreover, using both hands in turn will not maintain the same position for too long, otherwise the wrist will also hurt.

Epilogue

In fact, many things are also related to the dominant hand, such as coil notebooks, many people find it inconvenient to use, because when left-handed people want to write from the left to write the right page, they will get stuck first, and they can only turn the notebook upside down. Come and use it, it is too inconvenient to use a paperback notebook.

But you should have also discovered that Miracle's gardener's notebook is actually the direction of use that everyone generally sees. This is because I found a way to put a book next to the coil that is higher than the coil, so that it will not let your hands. Got stuck! It’s just that sometimes the words are a little more distorted near the coil. Anyway, the mountains don’t turn around. The way is thought up by people. A little action can make my life more convenient, I think it’s great!

There are some small habits in daily life, because you are too used to it, you will not notice whether it is related to your dominant hand, so if you are also left-handed, or if you have a friend who is left-handed, you can also share it together. Look at the lefties you see

In the end I want to say that no matter if your dominant hand is left or right, you are you, unique! Do not doubt!
I'm Miracle, thank you for reading, we'll see you in the next part, bye~

PS: This article was originally posted by Pathfinder. At that time, Xing Xing, who happened to be talking with Tanyoujing, talked about fonts in the message of the previous article, which is very coincidental! Did the saucer solve the puzzle to how I practiced writing? This is how the human body printing machine was trained. A friend also said that he would throw my words into the words of a hundred people, and he still recognized it (because my oblique direction is different from others) hahahaha XDD

PS2: By the way, I would like to report on the current situation with you, although no one should find out XD I am going on summer vacation, because the summer sun is too hot for Miracle, and I need to rest and recharge for a while. If you have something to write to me or leave a message on the FB fan, it will be faster to reply. If the website is on the website, it will flicker for a while. The energy evaporated by the heat is limited. If you see it, you will try to retake it. First of all, I would like to express my apologies and thanks to the friends who have continued to visit the Miracle Broadcasting Center during this period. The weather has started to get colder recently, and I will slowly return when the situation improves. Thank you dear friends ~ 20220813, Miracle.
