The stage director and actor Jia Fu seems to be very affectionate with his wife Yin, but in fact he always knew that his wife would have an affair with the co-actor. Two years later, Jia Fu accepted the invitation of the Hiroshima Art Festival to be a village resident to direct the classic play "Uncle Vanya". The organizer arranged for a silent young driver for Jiafu. But after realizing the driver Duli's skilled driving skills, he gladly accepted it.

After deciding on the casting, the cast and crew began rehearsing "Uncle Vanya". It took a long time to read the book, and it seemed that there was no progress, and the actors were somewhat impatient. All kinds of things are not going well, Jiafu asked Duli to take him around to change his mood. The two gradually started a conversation. Get closer and share the past. Afterwards, the drama rehearsal made progress, but it was a sudden accident that forced Jiafu to make a difficult decision.

The impression of Ryusuke Hamaguchi is the short film "Untouchable Skin". The image is quite unforgettable, but the story is a bit difficult to understand. Later, I heard that there was a "Happy Time" that lasted for more than five hours. Although I was curious, I didn't dare to look for it. "Accident and Imagination" is very rambling, but I can't find a reason to watch it. Originally, I wasn't very interested in "In the Car", but there were too many people in the community talking about it (and the protagonist is Hidetoshi Nishijima) and won a lot of awards in Japan and abroad. It shouldn't be a waste of time to read it, so I started The journey of "In the Car".

I regret not seeing it in the cinema a little bit. The video part is really clean and comfortable. The literary accent is very heavy, but it tells a fairly popular story, and the sense of tranquility and conflict is just right.

There are two stories in the movie, one is the story of a high school girl who secretly entered the house of a boy she has a crush on, and the other is Chekhov's play "Uncle Vanya", plus the story of the movie itself, three. The stories obviously refer to each other, and it is easy to find viewing pleasure.
The scene where Jia Fu and Du Li hug each other is too bloody in terms of the tone of the whole film, but when I saw the scene where Sonia comforted Vanya on stage, I thought it was a deliberate arrangement, but not so much. Hate.
As for the relationship between Kafu and Takatsuki, it goes without saying that whenever something happened, it would be brought to Kafu in the car to listen to the lines related to "Uncle Vanya" recorded by the sound.

The most interesting thing for me is the ending. After shopping in a Korean supermarket, I got in the same car as Jiafu's car (or that car) happily responded that I was waiting for his dog in the car, started the car, Step on the gas and leave. As he raced on the road, the obvious scars on his face disappeared completely. When I first saw it, I thought, "Ah! It turns out that Tori is a hired actor. Those sad pasts are just settings, and the purpose is to bring Jiafu back to the stage." So here is another story, which I didn't expect to be a little suspenseful. On the contrary, after thinking a little more, I realized that the intuitive interpretation should be that in this relationship, Jiafu really got rid of the past, and so did Duli. It was only after arranging such a "beautiful new life" (perhaps Jiafu, whose glaucoma was getting worse and worse, really sent the car to Duli), the scar that the doctor said could be repaired, but he wanted to leave before, was hidden.
