first letter

I chose to electronically authenticate my previous school credentials. I called the registration team of the previous school and learned that I had to fill in the application system for student registration information online, and fill in the email of the Leuven registration team in the remarks column. The documents were completed and emailed out in less than two days. Of course, it can also be done on the spot, but you must prepare all the relevant documents before going abroad, and remember to bring it to Belgium.

• The registration group receives the lease contract (although it is not mentioned above, it is necessary)
• After registering with the city hall to get the Annex 15 temporary permit, the police will come to check the address. I heard that the residence permit can be obtained after about a month or two.
• Open a bank account (we have already set up wise online banking and Yushan Euro card in Taiwan, so there is no rush to do so)
• Insurance (must be done, but we were afraid of accidents before getting insurance, so we bought Schengen insurance for one year in Taiwan)

second letter

Four pdf files will be sent: one is for tuition bills, the other is for city hall registration, insurance, housing lease, etc.

Activate student account

After that, the system will directly generate my personal student email. If there is a nickname, it will be used to generate it. If not, it will directly use your English name.

fourth letter

After activating the student account, after completing and sending out the materials that need to be supplemented in the pH.D application, you can see the pH.D progress and follow the progress of the current doctoral program.
