Light pickled plum wine
Ever since I watched the movie "Diary of the Sea Street" last summer, I have been thinking about my plan to make plum wine this year.
After watching some videos and articles one after another, I realized that making plum wine is not difficult but not that simple. As I have no experience, I decided to try the light-zipped plum wine first this year.
Before going home from get off work last weekend, I went to a wine merchant near the company to buy the base wine that I wanted to add. The boss and the boss don't know whether it was because of the severe epidemic situation, almost no customers came, or they were so enthusiastic. When I entered the door, I warmly and graciously inquired about my needs, and repeatedly brought out a few wines and poured them into small glasses for me to try.
While understanding the difference in the type of base wine, he drank the wine that the boss poured into the glass. In the face of this couple's passion for being up close and personal, keeping my distance from others as much as possible, I felt a little overwhelmed and precious at the same time.
The owner is multi-faceted, and the store not only has a variety of alcohol, but also tea and coffee. After buying the wine, I also took a bag of coffee beans by the way. In order to express my gratitude, the boss also specially gave me a cup of cold brewed tea to take home to drink, which is quite the feeling of traveling in the central and southern regions.
I took the MRT back home and ordered three catties of green plums with the owner of the grocery store I frequented. I went to the market the next day and bought three cans of sealable glass jars, and then I took the green plums home with the owner of the grocery store.
After putting the green plums aside for another day, it was as if I remembered, and I started to start for those green plums. Gently stabbed the plum with a sharp thorn and dug out the black pedicle, the feeling actually reminded me of the ear-picking service I saw in the Kuanzhai Alley in Chengdu, China, and I couldn't help but smile.
But it was a rainy day, and I was eager to try, so I had to wait patiently. Waiting for another silent night to come, waiting for another dawn, the sunshine to support life.
In the new week, on the way to work, even if the spirit is not good, there is still a little bit of fun, looking forward to returning home and completing the rest of the homework. So at the end of my return home, or perhaps the end of my life, I washed the glass jar containing the plum wine, and even prayed, this first light stain, don’t mess up and rot, and then wipe it carefully. The glass jar is like rubbing a magic lamp.
Put the plums that are beginning to ripen a little, one by one, as if to store your expectations. Pour some rock sugar at will, open three different base wines: sugar cane wine, You wine, and gin, pour them into their respective glass jars, close the lid and seal tightly, and you're done.
In the end, you only need to give time to the brewing. After the Dragon Boat Festival, you can come and taste it to see if the taste of life is still sour and sweet.
Like my work? Don't forget to support and clap, let me know that you are with me on the road of creation. Keep this enthusiasm together!
