Founder of Pi Network 28/11/2020 (about new version, rename, node, security circle, application)
About the new version:
HXS8888 Maybe. But not certain that a new version is necessary. We will keep you posted. Next week is an exciting week.
@HXS8888 Maybe. But not sure if a new version is needed. We will keep in touch with you. Next week will be an exciting one.
@HXS8888 Of course. Both MacOS and Win 10 work well at the moment. More OS will come later.
Of course @HXS8888. Both MacOS and Win 10 are currently working fine. More operating systems will appear in the future.
@ctf686 Soon. We are working on a publicly accessible roadmap and we take it very seriously. For example, we have never missed any public deadline that we set in the past. So we also want to give a very thoughtful roadmap this time as well so that it is both ambitious and feasible at the same time. Allow us some time to prepare it and we will make an announcement.

About Node:
@Sharat The less times a node changes IP the better. Even more important is your ports to be accessible by other nodes. Otherwise other nodes can't find you.
The fewer times a node changes IP, the better. What's more, other nodes can access your port. Otherwise, other nodes will not be able to find you.
@azroi Phase 3 will be after we have developed a robust network of nodes. The project is evolving very well. But it is not going to be ready next week
We will have more nodes following the blockchain very soon though, in the coming week or two.
The third phase will be after we have developed a robust node network. The project went very smoothly. But next week it won't be ready :) We will soon have more nodes following the blockchain in the next week or two.
@suppersai A changing IP is a negative factor for supernodes. That's because other nodes need to know your IP to connect to you.

About Safety Circle
@pi255666 My experience is that most people have others they actually know in their security circle. Only a minority of people have too many unknown people in their security circles and earning teams. Information about Pi travels word of mouth among friends. That's why it's invite only. There are also some influencers and people who post at random places and gather random people in their earning teams but I don't think they constitute the majority. I think our security circles are pretty good and people have the opportunity to update them every day. In the future when the blockchain is there I think people will be even more careful about their security circles especially after one can recover their private keys though their security circle. (You would never trust your ability to recover your lost wallet to strangers)

About the name:
@Murugeshv Minor mistakes are ok. Fake names not ok.
Small mistakes are fine, but fake names are not.
About the Pi app:
@Cc511515 By then, Pi will hopefully be a very useful network of many apps used by many Pi oneers. People will be able to exchange it for goods and services. Also, by that time we will already be in mainnet.
By then, the Pi will hopefully be a very useful network, containing many of the applications used by the pioneers. People will be able to use it to exchange goods and services. And, by then we'll have mainnet.
