The most important treatment plus maintenance

I am a physical therapist, and I will share with you from time to time my thoughts, some experience in therapy, and some health education! =]

The last article mentioned that a patient thought that his hunchback was caused by the weakness of the back muscles, but more symptoms occurred after the training, so briefly explain why "it is definitely not muscle weakness", and interested friends can go back to the previous article to see =]

Now that we talk about stiffness and tightness in the back, how to solve this problem? It is to "relax muscles and loosen joints" first. There are various methods and treatments. It is still up to you to try which one is suitable~~, but of course, as a therapist, I would recommend "freehand treatment", because I will Suggest poses based on progress, and even how people who like sports can return to better sports

After the treatment in the early stage, it is definitely not possible to maintain a good chest lift immediately. The first point is of course that the muscles, joints and other tissues are not loose enough. Even if they are relaxed now, it seems to be relatively firm, but there is no long-term stiff tissue. So relaxing so fast! Therefore, the treatment needs to last for a period of time; the second point is that the correction of your movements is not done well... If you go back and keep hunched back, it means that there is no treatment, because the treatment time is far less than the time for the hunched back home, you should take advantage of the treatment Afterwards, call to relax to adjust the posture in all aspects, but it should not be too straight. Do you feel very confused? Don't hunch your back, and don't over-straighten, because over-straightening will make the muscles that are not relaxed enough to become harder and will last for a long time, so what should be done?

Basically, it should be maintained at the most relaxed and upright level, even if the person next to him still looks a little hunched, it doesn't matter, but it must not be hunched back to the original level~~ (I know it is a bit convoluted, but you can read it a few more times. =])

There are three main points to check your chest up. If it doesn't work, it means that the entire thoracic spine is too hard, and it is too hard to move together..., you may need to pay attention at the beginning.

"""

1. "The chest should be upright", try to see if the front chest can be achieved as far as possible in a "slanting forward" action, provided that the waist is not too high to go out

"""

2. "It's not to stretch your waist", remember to stretch your thoracic spine, not to stretch your belly out! In addition, if the lumbar spine is straightened, the pressure on the spine at the thoracolumbar junction will increase, which will cause symptoms of the lower back.

"""

3. "The scapula should be slightly back to the middle of the spine", remember not to shrug up~~, it is the direction of the scapula to the spine, inward and downward

"""

After such a period of treatment and posture adjustment, I gradually discovered that I can unconsciously achieve a better posture than before without deliberately raising my chest! Not even doing any strength training related!

However, the early treatment does suggest reducing exercise or even suspending exercise. Then my patient asked me how to return to exercise without getting tighter and tighter? will be introduced in the next article

If there is anything you want to know or need to add, please leave a message to let me know =] Of course, you can also come to raise the bar~~
