From a pessimistic point of view, Jane China is no longer its former glory~

Holy matters:

Today, I read an article that was harmonized by 404, saying that Chinese is dead. After reading it, I deeply agree. Our current so-called positive censorship environment plus strict content censorship mechanism plus the development of mobile Internet, whether it is intentional to purify language or passively use some abbreviations to evade censorship, or because the Internet The backlash of low-quality groups (no sarcasm, just to describe the situation) caused by Shen, Chinese is becoming more and more strange, and there is a growing trend.

Remember when we were in high school and college, the Internet was in the ascendant, and online platforms were often the frontiers of fresh languages. At that time, the young Kill Matt family, the so-called "Mars text" was fashionable. For a while, Martian text swept the entire Chinese Internet with the trend of wildfire. You can see Martian in QQ signatures, avatars, names, and message boards everywhere. The figure of Wen. But although I was more disgusted at that time, in fact, at least Martian still has basic respect for Chinese. The most common routine is to use some uncommon homophones or radicals to express common Chinese characters. Because the so-called new and new human groups have just come into contact with the Internet and express themselves in their own way, it is understandable, and it can be regarded as a popular subculture.

But in recent years, due to the above-mentioned reasons, Chinese has been fragmented by the new generation of mobile Internet users. The expressions of childishness and nonsense are also full of daily online conversations, such as "we just said", "the whole big man is speechless", "juejuzi", "YYDS" and all kinds of strange abbreviations like It's "don't love when you're tired," "don't tear down when people are tough," and so on, to name a few. On the one hand, he is disgusted, and on the other hand, he has to adapt to such expressions and use them to "advance with the times". Although his heart is extremely repulsive and collapsed, it does not help. Maybe every generation has its own cultural expression.

On the other hand, has the Chinese-speaking world really reached the point where it has reached a dead end and lacks anything to say? I don’t think so, but under the hijacking of the fast-food mentality, people are reluctant to use their brains too much to chew on words. The medium of delivery, as long as the meaning gets there. You see, I also used the expression "get arrived" without realizing it. In fact, the beauty of Chinese is really not covered. For example, the simplest description of a cry can be expressed by words such as sobbing, sobbing, pear blossoms with rain, howling, and tears. For another example, to describe something delicious, it can be said to be delicious, delicious, full of fragrance, long aftertaste, rich in taste, and the index finger moves. These simple words are not more vivid than bad words such as YYDS and Juejue. Not to mention the various beautiful artistic conceptions in ancient prose and poetry. Just like in the early days of the epidemic last year, the packaging of Japan's domestic anti-epidemic materials was written in Chinese with such precise and elegant words as "the mountains and rivers are different, the wind and the moon are the same sky", which hit our hearts instantly, and then suddenly sighed, it turned out that The best place to inherit Chinese culture may be in overseas countries, and I don't know if this is a kind of luck or sadness.

I am still pessimistic about the cultural occlusion and shrinkage represented by the decline of language and characters in the mainland. Of course, this is not something I can worry about and decide on. I only hope that in my lifetime (probably not so pessimistic) , be optimistic about 10-20 years) It is definitely a blessing in life to be able to see the language and words of the Jane Chinese world, and to be able to re-bloom the magnificent splendor that originally belonged to it.

I look forward to that day coming soon~
